I actually hate the smaller look, it’s so crinkly n messy looking. I make mine much bigger and dip them in hot water to elongate them. This looks really nice on her regardless of my opinion

I noticed when I used that jam you used or used something else soft at the roots to grip, the braids tend to start sliding down in a few days so this time around I chose not to put jam or anything like it at the roots to grip. I put nothing or a just a littleeeeee hair wax at the roots to grip and this will make the hair not slip down too quickly. 🌿♥️

I don’t understand I’ve done these twists on me like 4 times now, however it doesn’t look as curly as hers but it’s the same hair .. and I do the size smaller. I think ima have to order from amazon, because I get my hair from the beauty supply store it’s called “bomb twist hair”. This is so stressful because it takes like two days to do lol especially if you have long thick hair 😫

Kristina Rezene you’re likely twisting in the wrong direction against the hair’s natural spring, I think if you pay attention to the direction and don’t move too far down the hair in a short amount of time, they should look bouncy like hers 😁
Hey I know it's been 3 weeks now but I do these twist and the bomb twist hair won't give this look. If you have the Kandi brand at your local beauty supply store you should look for the one that says spring twist. Hope this helps!

@@MyUniqueFeatures I've done this style twice (just as small as her's in the video) and kept the hair in for 2-3 months both times and I had so little shedding and breakage I was floored. Its my go-to protective style now I've experienced mad hair growth

I’ve done them large and small and I definitely agree with you. Smaller looks wayyyy better.
