this band has achived alot in a short time, alex`s voice is still good after all these years, not many singers can maintain their voice for many years (Oasis, led zeppelin)
I think Alex has been really smart with his voice, he’s adapted the style of the music to compliment his voice as it grows and matures, whereas someone like Liam Gallagher has always sung the same sort of songs, even his latest stuff is something that must be really damaging for a nearly 50 year old man. That being said, Liam does still turn up when needed but you can tell when he’s been performing a lot, because of his voice.
True, singing professionally and constantly singing in notes that you're not comfortable in wears it out quite quickly. I think even by 74 Robert Plant's voice was damaged and Liam's by 2001.
As a huge AM fan who saw them live for the first time here it was like a genuine goosebumps moment personally for me when they walked on and played this. Can’t wait to see what Alex has planned next
Everyone talks about how they want to be in the crowd listening to him but I want to be him, or rather be like him on the stage. I want to be the person on the stage with a different persona and a funny way of singing that people can’t help but like and I want to have funny mannerisms and be confident and have way too much fun on that stage with other people from my band.
