- Namaste, Citroên India today unveiled their new car, C3 Aircross. It is a 5 and 5+2 seater option that will come with a 1.2 L Turbo petrol engine, most likely a manual gearbox only. Price, I think it will start from 9.59 Lakh and the top end shown in this video will go almost 12.59 Lakhs.

If it is under 10 lac and runs good! I believe it will do great in our car market. Personally I'll go for the 7 seater. As C3 runs great.
Under 10 lakh market is predominatly occupied by budget friendly economical cars. Witjout a cng option no one gonna look at it in that segment. The closest rival to this car is kia caren and triber or xl6.
It is not a 7 seater.
There is a difference between a 7 seater and a 5+2 seater.
Ertiga/Innova/Carens is a 7 seater, whereas this car is a 5+2 seater

Sir vo flap type door handle and the steel keyhole reminded me of my 2002 tata sumo 😂😂
Citroen just need to have the following changes in the C3 Aircross
1.Projector Headlamp
2.Need to change the flap type door handle to normal pull type with keyless entry
3.LED tail light
4.All four power window button on driver side door
5.Rear power window button on respective doors
6.push button start stop function
7.Cruise control
8.Automatic climate control
These are the minimum features a car must have in 2023.Hope Citroen realise it.

This can't light a candle to a Venue, let alone a Creta. But, I like this car, looks butch, has all the basics right. Only things remains to be seen now is the price and the engine specs.

It certainly feels better than triber and somewhat closer to ertiga. Definitely price of top model should not go above 12lac considering it doesn't have automatic either

very practical tbh, if comes under good price. No gimiki chatpate features, is what i liked.
Why nobody talks about its suspension and engine expectations.
They only talk about gimmick features...
Citroen is known for hydraulic suspension but they are providing strut and twist-beam suspension like other manufacturers
It comes from the house of Mopar .... so engine is not going to disappoint

If priced right, it can compete well with Renault Triber, and having a 1.2 turbo is definetly a plus over Triber. Hope the pricing is right.

I personally wanted a 7 seater MPV with 17 inch alloys with good bonnet visibility.And this is just that. I am satisfied. For premium lovers,sky is the limit so please go ahead Sirs and spend as much as you want and you will get all the features including things like automatic,ADAS,360 camera and much much more.
I don't think this can even take 10% of Creta Sales. Citroen underestimating India market..

I really loved the design of the vehicle.
I don't know but I can see that people also started liking citreon, that's what UA-cam shows.
MS people laugh on TATA-Mahindra owners on their service centres and their part problems and attitude of the services guys.
And TATA-MAHINDRA owners laugh on MS owners on their built quality and also I have seen worst accident in khopoli Mumbai, so I think build quality should be definitely good.
So I think why not giving a try to these vehicles

If base variant is priced at 9 lakh plus then I think Ertiga will be a better choice. I don't think it will score good in crash test.

I appreciate a car with fewer electronics that break but it's quite something to see Gagan slip up when showing every detail in the car because a feature that is standard in the industry is missing. I sense a hint of racism from Citroen thinking we're upgrading from bullock carts to their cars. The featurelessness was okay in C3 but people need a little more in this segment.

They can capture Indian Market they will have to improve network. They dont have even a show room in Navi Mumbai where most of the poor middle class guys are living. the will find it as a alternate to their existing Wagan R fleet

If this is top model and if we compare this to creta seltos kushaq astor. The top model of c3 is equivalent to 2nd base model of creta seltos,vitara or base model of kushaq/astor. And that there as well we have compromise with flap door handle, basic key etc. So launching the top model at above 11 lakh which is price of other 2nd base or base model. It will be a failure. I have no problem with cost cutting but they need to launch it at 9 if not 8.5 and end it at 10.5

So it is basically a bigger and better triber but no match for anything above triber. Hopefully it starts below 9 and ends at 12 lacs. Then it will make great sense, specially 7 seater variant where seats can be removed.
This Car is actually created to compete with Brezza Nexon and Venue . Not Creta or Vitara etc .
.... Its low on features, so obviously people who don't don't want MPV Ertiga, but get a cheaper car size of Creta at Brezza price will go for this ...
