lolol I sympathize with the poor arena fighter... last night we were playing dnd drakkenheim (it's sort of a warhammer reskin) and my barbarian confidently stood in the line of fire for 6 seconds. One ratling ran out of the nearby shadows to stand next to me, giving the three dozen others who were 100' away a bonus to range attacks. Then they dropped me :D

Lorenzo: Yeah, something.
Tzeentch: Something, or maybe someone?

This rogueish duo are even afforded the bounty of a short story!? And what a blessing for GDN's listening audience. At last, main protagonist Bretonians in a fish-out-of-water setting within the Empire.
A lone, introductory guard? Standing against a group of villains? Plus, they're decidely rat-man-like? In Warhammer...yeah, certain and inevitable death. “Muscles melted”, yikes. Comfortably familiar, atmospheric grimdark.
The depiction of Lorenzo in the book cover image used as the thumbnail doesn't look quite fat, old, bald or toothless enough. Too Hollywood but otherwise it's another fine pic to look at. Foreign commentary on unknown “quiz-een” can always be fun and Lorenzo's own ongoing gripes about Imperial food is no less wryly humourous. With Reikspiel giving the Breton-speakers a proper Imperial welcome down in the fighting pit, I pass you my gratitude for covering one more story involving these characters, GDN.
