The fact I bought this game on premiere and it was too boring to finish so after so many years I decided to catch up with it for Mirrage - and turns out Mirrage is as boring as Valhalla, what a shame. Great vid anyway!
Idk man, the story is good but the game felt stretched and full of completionist filler garbage. After reaching england and meeting with ragnar's sons i was already so bored i deleted the game. Fair enough, the story presented here in interesting but the game, i felt got really repetitive and boring. Good thing i didn't pay for it.
Exactly the same but it wasn't just repetitive and boring gameplay with the dullest side quests and main character you could imagine, even watching just the cutscenes was putting me to sleep I can't imagine ever managing to complete it myself. Even the stupidity of Odyssey wasn't that bad, I at least got through it I'm a British celt, its portrayal of the people and the countries they're from were the worst part, they must have been pulled straight out of a cheap movie from the 80s 😑
@@valandil7454 know what you mean. i was being indulgent with my comment. Cutscenes as well, boring af but what bothered me the most, is that although the story itself is interesting, the characters felt bland with no unique traits or substance. Eivor felt as politically correct as you can make a viking. He was the PC viking. He would always be so calm, never say a mean or offensive word to anyone, never lash out. Then you do a raid and suddenly you’re slaughtering dozens 😄 then he’s back to being the equivalent of a meditation instructor 😄 it doesnt even compute. I remember Altair, he was arrogant, obnoxious even sometimes, had a bit of a cruel and selfish side to him too. But for all his faults, he also had redeeming qualities: he was brave, able beyond most assassin’t and ambitious. And also, as he discovered more you could see the shift and evolution in his character from being arrogant and unlikeable to becoming an honourable man. Now that’s how you make a character. What’s Eivor by comparison? 😄the Politically Correct Viking 😂 dont worry, he’ll slaughter your village but wont say a single offensive phrase. He’s also respects his enemies pronouns 😄 Fcking joke
@@CdRullzzz I finally finished it after literal months. I would play it on and off when I got bored. The ending quests were actually fairly interesting, especially because there was a lot more mythology at play. Before that though, it was pretty miserable. I was sad too, I love viking history and so far I've really enjoyed all of the AC games. I was excited for it, and when I played a couple hours my main thought was, "This game kind of sucks...?" It was a step down in so many ways, the graphics were worse than the other games. It was optimized worse than the other games. The story was straight up miserable, and the combat was crazy easy. At least with Odyssey and Origins I'd have challenges sometimes, I was able to do quests and fight bosses that were supposed to be loads above my skill level. Overall, it was very disappointing, it could have been infinitely better. I agree with you as far as the characters go, they were all extremely bland and difficult to feel any kind of attachment to. Some of the main characters would die in a serious moment and I wouldn't bat an eye.
Lol probably because you were rushing for it , I played if slowly in the spam of 5 months and enjoyed it . Probably you like pYinf 60$, for 14 hour gameplay (mirage ) 😂😂😂

Ubisoft has 4 years till the 10th anniversary of assassin’s creed. Hope they will develop a game with proper story, characters and more down to earth weapons without all those fire/poison damage and stuff as they used to be before ac origins. Something that is as engaging and gives a wow factor as ac origins did.
To me the future and past system is not good it just takes you out of the element but what can i say with this they might make a futuristic AC game 🗿 And yha i came here to understand the AC Valhalla story becaz i forgot it before playing mirage.
I hate this game and I wish you wanted to be an assassin with better parkour and a much shorter story with a bigger emphasis on Connors ancestors from assassin's creed 3
I passed history on the American revolution because I played assassins creed 3.
😂
That’s badass
Same 😂😂the game is the reason I fall in love with history
I was playing the game in History class and yeah it made me enjoy it more
That’s wild if it’s true! Also awesome
If you're going to tell a story, show the footage FOR THAT STORY. This was a pain to attempt to watch.
Yea he lost me
true. what the hell is a video on YT for you can at least put pictures if you cant get footage
It’s not? I just finished Mirage and want to understand Valhalla (which I didn’t play)…. This video didn’t taught me much anyway.

So basim is just a reincarnated loki and thats why he attacked Eivor who is a reincarnated Odin?? This story sucks😂
I agree, Valhalla is like kinda bad tv series, endless boring stuff, until you get into gameplay itself, it best feature.

I think Eivor in canon is a female. Largely because in game if you let the Animus pick your gender, you'll always be female Eivor.
That doesnt make sense to me since Eivor is Odin reborn
