Listening to this nostalgic tune, I heard David T Walker's playing style and embellishment as the song progressed. I looked out for who the solo guitarist might be and found it was the maestro himself doing his thing. Dave is 82 years, I wish him more bright years in good health and sound mind.
Best performance I ever saw was Lou Rawls and Natalie Cole at Harrah’s in Reno back in the late 70’s or early 80’s. They were both fantastic, but Lou could just touch your soul and make the women swoon.
Amazing soulful on the spot rendition very different from the recorded version. A true Jazz/ Blues soul!
