- The Sonata no. 1 in G minor, BWV 1001, is the first of a set of six works composed by Johann Sebastian Bach for the solo violin. This Sonata is in four movements: adagio, fugue, siciliana and presto. In this video, four fantastic guitarists are sharing the scene to give a rich and colourful recording. These four guitarists are Stefanie Jones, Katarzyna Smolarek, Aljaž Cvirn and Sanel Redžić.

Classical guitars are our passion! We are specialized in the highest quality concert guitars as well as historic guitars from around the world. Our passion for these unique instruments and the joy to give guitarists, passionate players, and collectors the possibility to purchase their own appropriate instrument is the motivation that drives us. Another focus is to work closely with established and young, largely unknown luthiers. Together we want to develop new ideas and share experiences with our customers. We also recorded pieces for many great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Astor Piazzolla and Isaac Albeniz (Asturias). You will also find almost all the classical music composers that wrote for the classical guitar. Make sure to discover Agustin Barrios Mangoré, Manuel Maria Ponce, Heitor Villa-Lobos and many more if you don't know their compositions already You can find our show room in 76137 Karlsruhe, Roonstr. 31, Germany #SiccasGuitars
Sanel .. wow. Fingerings and interpretation - outstanding!
The fugue (BWV 1001) is possible one of my most favourite classical pieces of all time, the overlaying of the deceptively simple motif makes for a grand exposition of harmony and spatial construction in a self-contained movement.
IN THIS VIDEO EVERYTHING IS EXCELLENT.....THE SOUND OF THE GUITAR IS SO BEAUTIFUL.....THE MELODY IS NSO BEAUTIFUL.......THE GUITARIST IS SO BEAUTIFUL.....HER FEELINGS IS SO BEAUTIFUL.....IN ONE WORD,,,,,,''EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL''......I ENJOYED IT SO MUCH.....!
Bach is the master of spiritual elevation music. It’s really amazing to hear such music played so well by these superb guitarists with these great guitars. I stopped what I was doing just to pay attention to this. Thank you!
i LOVE these series of various players on one go & complete pieces.
Katarzyna brings her technical excellence & fully engaged emotion to this fugue - beautiful; the Rothel sounds excellent in supporting her interpretation.
SO SMOOTH
Glorious music, wonderful playing.
The Adagio was stunning
Gorgeous
C'est vraiment très très beau !! magnifique interprétation
СУПЕР
Bravo, c'est magnifique !!!
lovely !
Bravo!
M. Cvirn brings out the special lyric dignity of this siciliana, as we might assume it was intended an aristocratic banquet; very fine technique & feeling. The Giovanetti has grand "orchestral" range, in pitch & dynamics.
TOUCHING-DIVINR!!!!
Genia de la guitarra
bravissimi tutti!!!
fantastica!!!!
