Bach's Sonata for Violin has a fantastic purity of sound in the guitar. Petru Ceku gives colourfulness and magical enchantment to the melody. It is still powerful, striking, serene that it is awe-inspiring.

Beautiful and very deep interpretation. An "high pass filter" would have been very welcome, to avoid the traffic noise sub frequencies in the background that are truly disturbing when listening with good speakers.

Very, very nice notes. I'd be so happy to hear what your goals in tuning are. Tuning octave? 4ths? Would love to what sort of compromises, errors, etc. you are dealing with. You wind up with a great sound. Thanks Norman Spurgeon
Great playing, except that the instrument is badly out of tune, especially in the second movement. Why cannot guitar makers compensate better for the intrinsically unstable tuning of classucal guitars? And why do otherwise great players tolerate the terrible intonation problems of almost all guitars, or pay more attention to tuning. It cannot be that hard to fix. This really does sound painfully off sometimes.
Was this recital amplified in that small hall??? Horrible; shame on the organizers! This Bach performance is unconvincing; how did this young man sneak Pittaluga first?

Guitar is properly tuned to the tempered scale, it can't be otherwise. I agree, it sounds awful.
Get your ears fixed. Maybe a few shots across the bow.
