We enjoyed the tour of Shugborough Hall, Lisa and Giles. A beautiful property with lovely gardens. Not a big fan of cats, but love dogs too! The value of the annual membership as you mention can be figured two ways. One in keeping these beautiful properties maintained and alive! That I believe would be our decision. Purely as a value for the entertainment sake would, as you also mention, depend on the number of times you would visit one. Looks like you'd have to visit one quite often to make it worthwhile. Thanks for bringing us along,
Great, insightful video, thanks guys. I’m with you Lisa, 🐶 for me, never can trust cats, far too intelligent for my liking! Loved watching Giles on the playground; all the grace and finesse of a Staffordshire Bull 😂. 😍 “died of a Friday” 😂
It’s got to be team cat 🐈 for me! Great review, and thank you for including photos of the prices and notice boards in the cafe. This is really useful and helpful for planning visits 👍🏼 Glad to see I’m not the only adult enjoying the play areas 😂 I highly recommend checking out Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden in Yorkshire. Possibly the most spectacular trust we’ve visited - especially if you like water gardens 👍🏼
''Let me know when you've finished playing Giles'' Hilarious. Team dog for us too ,I'd love to take Freda around the grounds. Is it free to just park up and walk around the outside parts? Carl says he built the blue brick footings for the visitors center at Shugborough. He gets everywhere. LOL.
@@TravellingLightLisa I'm probably a bit late with this suggestion but I've noticed places doing Halloween ghost tours, would you fancy that? My family are all too chicken sadly....
I went there in year 4 with my school and I had to dress up as a WW2 evacuee.
I heard that you still dressed that way! 🤣
I heard you still dress like that! 🤣
@@TravellingLightLisa All I can afford 😂

So glad you enjoyed it. Hope you are both well. All the best from this side of the pond.
So many amazing places to visit in England. I wish I could afford to go for a holiday every year and check them out. Thanks for showing this one.
There certainly are. I don't know why we bother going abroad!.....Ah yes, the weather 😆

Hahaha loved it! People behind you in the dairy seemed to be loving the singing 😂
Yes they asked if they could purchase my album!

Yes. There are lots of nice walks around there, and you can access the canal network. Is there anything that Carl hasn't built? 🤣
Very good. No pets advised as you have to get back for them.
Thanks for watching, but if you had to choose?....
Shugborough is lovely at Christmas too, but i think you're right, outdoor spaces are always best at these places.
Thanks for watching. Good suggestion. We will have to try Shugborough by candlelight at Christmas. 😁👍
