I only procrastinate between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM from only creatively efficient from 7pm to 2am
I thought about mentioning time being a factor but that’s definitely a privilege a lot of people can’t act on. Also it can be maybe slightly dysfunctional. 😂 I’m always most productive at like 12am-6am!

Very insightful Abbey - I can see my failures arising from setting too encompasing goals. Then I get too focused and time goes out of the window. Your idea to set "session specific" goals seems intuitively right - and I shall put this into practice today! Thanks a ton!
Some people do well with more broad task setting, but I feel like the more micro the tasks the easier it is to just start knocking them out one by one! ❤

All that was said is absolutely true. Some of these I'll start implementing right away, like listening to music without words. I've seen an improvement in both my art and UA-cam channel when I started to take some breaks. The 25-5 rule was very important for me.

I have had a rule where I don’t allow myself to listen to new music while working for awhile now. 😂 it absolutely destroys my focus.
