- Vladimir Ivanovich Rebikov (May 31, 1866 - August 4, 1920) was a late romantic 20th-century Russian composer and pianist.
Valse Mélancolique is the 3rd piece of 3 Pieces, Op. 3. Composed in 1900, I found this piece to be challenging to keep each line clean. Particularly when the 2nd countermelody enters towards the end of the piece. Really fun to learn though, and will have to continue exploring this guy. I like his stuff.

The intro reminds me of La La Land
The lines sound clean
Wow. Astonishingly beautiful

I love his harmonious melody work xoxoxo. You play sooooo beautifully. (I struggle so much to convey his beauty every time I try to play his music😂)
❤❤Thank you for showing us this short but sweet sad lyrical impressive waltz
Thanks for the kind words :). I struggle with that, too. But the struggle to convey your own interpretation of the music is part of the fun!
