Powder foundation is not for dry complexions, it seems this is something most women would know. I think powder foundation is really is intended for oilier skins, it's just logic.
I’m glad I seen this. I had had FOMO over this one, but not now…I’m dry too. An easy pass now. Tyfs beautiful 🤗💚

I would try this with a very hydrated base/tinted moisturizer or other glowy foundation and use it for additional coverage only. Maybe even dusting it over the face with a fluffy brush. For even slightly dry skin, powder foundations alone are going to be far too drying. Try using it as a light setting powder that will give some additional coverage.
I don't like powder foundation in general so normally if I get one in a box I just use it like a setting powder and apply with a brush lightly to my face
Yeah, I did read that that's the best way to apply for best results. I'm going to give it a try!
I guess this KVD powder foundation is suitable for oily-acne prone skin as most of the powder foundation suits for. For better coverage esp for dry skin (like me), its best to go for liquid foundation instead

Did you ever try it with a brush? I have seen that you have to buff the shit of it into the skin and then it looks beautiful.
I never received my premium box. Now I have to wait for a what ever we have left box. After the price went up too.
I received mine today. Same shade as you. I really wanted this to work but I agree with you. Yikes!
Which one do you recommend us? I have the same problem and I have the same tone as you so which one is good for you?

Kinda bummed you had the same results as I did. This might be great for people with oily skin, but I have combination and it definitely highlighted dry patches that I didn't even realize I had. I was hoping the side with the Ciate primer would prove better. I bought mine as an add-on because I cancelled premium last month. All the reviews were great, so I want to make it work! Hopefully with some skin polishing and moisturizing the application can be improved. If I find a solution, I'll come back here and let you know.

@@KristiBergman I've read some reviews that say it applies best with a brush, so perhaps try it that way? Or wait for me to do it and I'll let you know. I'll do it in the next day or so. Maybe I'll do it later and get right back to you.
I unfortunately got an awful shade match as well that made me look like a ghost. I tried to use it to set my foundation that leaves me extra dewy to see if maybe it could be used like a setting powder, and still fell short. I was super bummed because I had heard great things as well.

What did you use to apply it? I read the boxycharm reviews and a few people said it applies best with a brush. I haven't tried it with a brush yet, but I'm feeling hopeful.
@@chaoswitch1974 I use the sponge it came with if I need extra coverage , but I mostly use my brush because I use it lightly.
Maybe will a different skin prep?!?
