Yes, this is a beautiful powdered foundation. Yeah...for only 2hrs!😒 For all oily/ acne prone skin folks, please be aware that this oxidizes really bad with our oily skin and causes breakouts. I thinks it works for photoshoots because it has great coverage and a great skin tone range. Definitely, not intended for everyday wear.
I'm so sad, I love everything else from KVD but this was a let down
I think the colour of the foundation really threw me off, it's super orangey for your skin tone, and it no offense, makes it sort of like the colour of an oompa loompa!

Same here! The liquid is good, but the powder LOOKED good at first, I wore it on a date and left humiliated!! Never trying it again!! Side note: you are stunning and seem SO SWEET!! You just gained a new subscriber, as a curvy woman of color (I am indigenous) myself I am so happy to see a fellow curvy beauty doing youtube videos!!
Thanks for doing this review. I purchased this foundation last summer and I ended up returning it. I have oily skin and live in a super hot and humid climate. It just did not hold up and I became oily after about 2-3 hours with or without primer. I really wanted it to work for me. Please continue doing these type videos😊.

I have this powder and I also have oily skin. I alternate between this and make up for ever duo Matte but I did find that it didn't last all day on its own. I use make up forever base 1 mattifiante and it helped it last all day. But I will say it doesn't play well with other mineral products (blushes and highlights all have natural oils)

You should try the smashbox photo finish 15 hour wear foundation I love it and i have oily skin it's seriously so good!

i have such a love hate relationship with that foundation!lmao i keep buying it because it photographs so so well like no other foundation but i run out of it so quickly cause i have to use a few pumps to built the coverage so i spend a lot of money on it uggggh! im on the hunt for a new foundation but for now no other one compares to the look of the smash box photo finish lol
I'm so glad I found you!!! It has been such a struggle for me to find someone who is my EXACT skin tone with truly oily skin 😩 I feel like we're a special type of brown that no makeup companies make a perfect match for lol but ur reviews make it very helpful for me!

I still like this powder, but for the last 6 months,I have moved onto charolette tilburys powder in dark...i love it! you should do a review on it!

Could you review the Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous liquid foundation next for oily skin diaries? I've heard some people say it's great for oily skin and others say it's awful so I'm not sure.

I tried the loreal pro matte that you reccomended and I must say im impressed how it held up,covered,looked,but now as we are moving into winter my skin is still oily with dry flakes and patches on my nose,around the lip,forehead...it makes them look 10 times worse so any reccomendations?
I would move to a different foundation, something with more moisture, or add some serum or facial oil to that foundation, perhaps skip the powder!
You should try the NYX Stay Matte But not Flat Powder Foundation, I am very oily, also I like a good coverage and I feel it's pretty good, with a little bit of concealer on your worrisome áreas and you'll be all set to go.

OMG This is my all time powder foundation the too faced cocoa powder foundation I bought 4 of them i’m on my last one and too faced discontinued it 😢😢😢I hate too faced for discontinued it Do you guys know anything similar to it? lets beg too faced to bring it back please I tried the whole sephora ulta powder foundations none if them work like the too faced cocoa powder foundation.
Interesting that the primed side didn't perform any better! Do you find primer usually works well with powder foundations, or is pretty dependent on the foundation?
Well primer is supposed to create a barrier between the skin and the product and sometimes enhance its longetiviti ( if it is marketed that way) so im not surprised
Jodi Butler I honestly don't use primers very often, for powder foundation I either like to spray a setting spray first for my face atelier ultra matte! One primer that seems to help with oil control for me is the MUFE matte!

I tried this and returned it. I think the color was off and it was kind of chalky or something. Definitely not as "seamless" as MAC SF!
Have you ever tried the Estee Lauder doublewear powder foundation or the Tarte Airbrush Mineral Powder? I'd love to see Oily Skin Diaries on those too! I swear you are the only person on YT who is as oily as me, blotting buddies 👭
I used the airbrush foundation in a full face first impressions from october, but I will do a full review. As for the EL I have that as well, not sure if the shade is off or what but I find it super muddy and patchy. I need to wait until I am darker agin to try!

Your skin is looking good! Are you trying anything new? As for the foundation, I'm with you, it just doesn't look right. Not sure if it's just on camera but it seems to have patched off on your nose. That happens to me a lot and I hate it!

Mine fluctuates so much as well! That's why I am always searching for the one regimen or products that will make it happy consistently. I think that is too much to ask for lol. I am currently using a gentle cleanser alternating with the 10% benzoyl peroxide cleanser from Neutragena, the Pixi glow tonic to exfoliate, and a super basic moisturizer and my acne topical meds every other day, Its the most consistently ok my skin has ever been but I can't get rid of those pesky cysts that come with hormone fluctuations.
It could just be because of the color match issue, but it looked very mask-like without even being totally full coverage. I can see why you didn't love it!
+rac1891 aside from the colour I really didn't love it, so sad because I had high expectations
when you first applied in the morning it did look dark and yellow. Once you came back later it looked orange. A problem I had with the Urban Decay all nighther foundation. I too have oily skin but any tips on preventing your foundation from oxidizing and also prevent transfer when hugging someone.
Yah that foundation oxidized too, I had high hopes for this but unfortunately it didn't work out

Did you have to go darker in the powder? I'm between warm 53 and 57 but the powders look a bit lighter.

Maybe a neutral undertone would have worked better. I know for me, if the shade is off, it really skews my view on the product

The color doesn't match your skin tone at all. It also looks very caked on which I've heard other people mentioning that and to use a brush. I do like your teeth.

oma berry I'm not sure why the tone ahha but I obviously thought it was my shade. That's the shade I wear in the liquid. It was purchased at IMATS and I didn't get the chance to test it out.
