    Hey there!
Welcome to my channel, The Nature Patch where I like to share all things gardening, cooking, environmental science and flower farming in my Australian bushland backyard in south coast NSW.
My name is Robyn, an environmental scientist, and flower farmer. I have recently completed my PhD in understanding how people's wellbeing and their connection to nature is impacted by land use change but now I'm taking a break from research to pursue a dream of owning a flower farm. I've always loved gardening and nature and lately have been interested in growing my own organic food!
On this channel you'll find videos relating to garden tours, 'how to' videos, composting, soil health and how to start a flower farm.
I try to upload twice a week and I hope you enjoy!!
🤎 Filmed and edited on Yuin country. I acknowledge and pay respects to Traditional Owners of the land past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

Always enjoy watching Robin, so relaxing , love hearing the birds in the background , busy planting carrots, snap peas, bok choy all up & growing well. Not to mention weeding & composting. My candles calm me in this cooler weather.🐝🌼💐🦋

I never pay for $12 something postage from Garden Express.
They give 10% coupons if you spend over $100, the coupon never expires but is one use only, but every time you spend over $100 you get a free coupon. If they forgot to put one in your box they will give you a code over the phone.
So you should have one on your box to use for next time and keep using them and you’ll only pay the $2 something as long as you spend over $100.

I bought one of those ranunculus packs last year, a few have popped back up again this year, which is nice to see since the birds really scratched out my gardens this year. This year I've put in 30 orange, 30 red, 30 pink, and I'm waiting on half a dozen yellow (not a lot of space in my yellow patch for now), half a dozen bright pink to put in with the pale pinks, 20 white, and 20 burgundy. The blue anemones were STUNNING last year but the parrots kept eating them 😭I wasn't going to put more in this year, was going to wait and see if any popped back up again, but I couldn't help myself and ended up putting another 20 in. I can't get enough blues in the garden.

Sounds like it’s going to be beautiful! I also had some trouble with birds and the blue flowers so I’m hoping to have enough for all of us this year 😂
