I wouldn't be so quick to judge. Frank has alot of geckos and takes care of them fine, I bought a great looking Female Tangerine -Cheeto- that was healthy, good size, and if I ever have a question he always has time to answer me. Great breeder and person. Thanks for everything Frank, hoping to get a Gargoyle from you soon
Why do you pick them up by there tail even though it doesn't drop because it trusts you it is uncomfortable for them if I was u I would pick them up normaly
Thanks you all for participating in the LIVE premiere for the black night holdbacks! Let me know what you thought and ur thoughts on our new website ventures or shirt endeavors! Love yall see ya soon! 🥳
Looking at getting into the black night project. I’ve got the opportunity to get hold of 1:1 black night tangerines so of course had to have a Google about wether I should jump at it or not. Like most breeders it’s a dream to have the opportunity. However I know I’ll need a darker male/female eventually as just pairing them 2 won’t get me them dark dark colours but I feel like it’s a good place to start. What do you think?
For sure! If they have BN blood in them they could always produce darker babies over time. My strategy is collect females and then breed one really nice male to them, so u can buy females and then get a male eventually also as another option
Hey! Good eye, so we actually have a video busting that myth a little bit and showing how we handle 1000s of leopard geckos every month in the same way. Now, babies I wont pick up by the tail because they are more flightly, but adults have settled in so much, as long as you are gentle, they dont mind it and wont drop tail. Ive never had an adult drop tail on me in 5 years and 1000s of geckos and only ever had 1 juvenile drop a tail on me this year after 4 years no drops finally got one lol, so im more careful with juvies now. Thanks for your concern and please let us know anytime you see something you think is off! :D Appreciate ya!
@@o0FlipnoteSparkle0o For sure I never recommend it to people who maybe dont have as much handling experience, but to people who do, its kinda like a "quick transfer" lightly held, at the base of the tail where it is thick and strong, you want your gecko to feel secure. If you really want to be on the edge of your seat check out this video and tell me what you think lol :D ua-cam.com/video/JZlZeCyi3yg/v-deo.html
Thanks for your concern Tivon, Leopard geckos are extremely reluctant to drop their tails, especially as adults, we've actually never had one. Although I agree you should try not to, it's also something that can be done if correctly by experienced breeders. We have a video on it here: ua-cam.com/video/JZlZeCyi3yg/v-deo.html
@@GeekyGeckoCreations Your black velvet leopard gecko was actively dropping its tail in your hand, and I am extremely doubtful that this wasn't the cause. Holding them by the tail is always stressful for them.

@@State48TurtleTortoise Yes please do man! Ill def try to see ya and make time for a convo! If you dont mind waiting or swinging back around, ill def make time to talk reptiles with ya bro!! :D
I wonder if the lack of aggression in black nights is more of a response to color? You mentioned tangerine and white and yellow. They are very bright. Maybe the lack of bright color doesn't provoke aggression
@@GeekyGeckoCreations it would make sense. Pretty unrelated but I noticed when I had chickens that the roosters didn't realize the rooster with a different comb was a rooster until they were much larger. Aggression seems to be triggered by certain physical features in a lot of species.
@@GeekyGeckoCreations yeah on Reddit people are just giving me so much hate about it and they say there’s already enough geckos getting breed and you’re just doing animal abuse just because I am 13 years old when I’ll probably start braiding when I’m 16 and I already know a lot about them and they just picking on me because of the mistakes I made
@@NathansWildLife Oh really haha, thats insane because no matter how many reptiles are produced theres always more humans that want em. That's why wholesale works, because there is a high demand for those reptiles. Keep doing you :)
SO beautiful. I have a very, VERY dark patternless girl... would she be useful in a black knight project? I've not seen any as dark as she is, so I've hung on to her. What if I bred her to a black knight, or black knight cross, or - my male Turcmenicus?
So the weird thing about Turcmenicus is that ive seen them pop out some DARK babies naturally more frequently than any other "morph" or species, so maybe try it with the Turc boy! But in theory yes, dark geckos bred to dark geckos over time should make darker geckos! Just for fun what would you name a dark line if you created one? :D
The black nights are gorgeous!!! I want one so bad. Will you be selling any anytime soon?? Is there an email list I can sign up for where you send out a notice of sale? 😍 I can see your passion for these geckos and love that!
