This organ plays together with the church. I visited this wonderful instrument some years ago. I love it. Bravo! I could stay and play on this organ until the end of my life.
Playing Bach on such an instrument means being human. It means that the meaninglessness of life or rather the fact that it is beyond having meaning is powerless for that moment since after all those years of evolution here I sit and produce such sounds with such beauty !!! It redeems all our unresolved questions about life. In fact I felt strange writing that since I have no questions left. I simply remembered what it was like to have them. The appreciation of Beauty is the real mystery and is the fount of everything mystical. In short it’s great to play that organ
@@cosmos99ify I like your words very much! Ah, I'd give anything to experience what you've described. Thank you for your hard work, and your lovely playing.
EXCELLENT! I remember that I studied this toccata and fugue in my undergraduate time. It's possibly one of the rare cases in which it is advisable - at least for the toccata - n to use no 16' stops for the manuals and no 32' for the pedals (the work would lose its clarity). Thanks a lot for posting it!
Just discovered this channel and I'm really enjoying all the performances. Hopefully there are many more to come. It's so great to see the intros with details about some of the great instruments I've loved for decades. Thank you! 👏
Splendida esecuzione.
I lacked this Masterpiece so badly 😮😮 This one is standing alone, for Music , Performance and Recording 🎉🎉 Respect to ALEXEI , thanks too all who contributed to make and post the Video 💥
Greetings from Canada!! Extraordinary Bach performances! And with no printed music sheets! I'm saving this link to replay. Many thanks to all at the Mediterranean Conference Centre for making this possible!
Dear Alexei, thank you for posting this video of your brilliant interpretation of this marvelous toccata and fugue. I am very happy to have discovered your UA-cam channel. 🙏
Sicurezza, tempi, esecuzione a memoria.
The music of the spheres! When Bach is played, we are transported into the spaciousness and dynamics of the universe.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🍻 I love playing the Dorian far more than the well known toccata and fugue in d minor
Play and enjoy both! 😀

Splendid work, splendid organ,, splendid performance. Ute would have been delighted, and Bach
A sublime performance of perhaps Bach's greatest organ work, on a world heritage instrument. Maybe the best organ video on UA-cam. THANK YOU!
Wonderful performance and beautyful organ!

Magnificent, Alexei! Thank you for your performance. I can only imagine what it must be like to play this organ...wonderful!

Awesome. No need for assistance or registration. BACH would be proud of that.

Bravissimo Alessio.....molto belli pure i tuoi video.......
Much too fast as always.
Much as I hate to criticise, in this huge acoustic I do agree.
I think it was just right. Evidently you havent heard the piece by many others who like to race from beginning to end.
