This is the text: You say that Muslim theologians don’t disagree about the who-ness of God well of course it’s true that Islam is a monotheistic religion and in the same way Christians agree on trinitarianism but the amount of disagreement about the nature of God and his attributes and so forth is just as diverse in Islam and Christianity as for the Holy Spirit you don’t need to wait until the fourth century for him to be granted full Divine status that occurs in the new Testament itself as I’ve already stated. Now with respect to the three wills I think that this follows from divine perfection you have three perfect persons who are equal in goodness omnipotence and omniscience and therefore it’s perfectly plausible that they would always agree and would not come into disharmony with each other so this is a Christian postulate that I think is perfectly reasonable.
Hijab is not an effective debater. The actual problem is that if 3 minds consistently align in their gazillions of decisions and actions, then their wills are not entirely independent. Their are underlying supreme principle or the source from which the individual wills derive. In this way craig is placing a common ideal above them...
In regards to the Dr.s closing statement: I was born into a Muslim family, and stopped identifying as a Muslim or practicing for a few decades. I was fully agnostic and dabbling in spirituality, deeply seeking to know God or to understand God it to feel peace in my being. I am so grateful to have that perspective now, after returning with fresh eyes like a child. Learning to pray, learning the Quran, learning the seera of the prophet. I thank god everyday for my return to Islam.
Excellent. How can a man 2000 years later claim to understand the trinity better than centuries of Christian scholars? Truth is that the trinity was a later creation, never part of the early Christian theology.
Dear Fatima Hijab... *Who is Powerful ? Triune God - God the Father, The Creator, God the Son, the redeemer (from our sins) and God the Holy Spirit The Sanctifier* or Man made Allah and His baqri as the redeemer to redeem from mankind sins, specially when comes to mass violences, murders,...? Muslims got it right ? or still want to follow single headed dictator false god and not the actual Creator The Father / Redeemer The Son/ Sanctifier The Holy Spirit, The Triune God ? Who calls you His Children and not slaves, choice is yours!!!
It didn't. Started with 11 and is going on strong after 2000 years. Your Islam however doesn't like free speech and would kill people who don't bow. Difference.
*What your imams don't tell you* Allah himself testifies that he has a son and he is the son as Christians understand it! Only the Koran writer was too ignorant to know what Son of God means! Allah's word which created everything is Allah himself too! *The Word Allahs which created everything is the Son of God according to Christianity!*

I used to be a Christian. I struggled for decades to understand the Trinity. No one could even begin to explain it to me in a way that made logical sense. When I started studying Islam, it took me 3 seconds to understand Tawhid. Case closed.
Islam ain't an upgrade at all lmao. The mystery of God isn't something to be bragged by muslims as if they do, Sam shamoun would gladly destroy their claims as well. The only thing greater than Christianity factually is agnosticism.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think one’s ability to understand certain doctrines in religion is a testament to that particular religions falsity or truth.

You have to be joking. Hijab failed to show any incoherence with the Trinity and ran away whenever Craig talked about the issues of the Muslim view of tawhid (far from a general monotheism). Hijab barely made any arguments except attacking Craig, and when he did, Craig easily refuted it while managing to hold back laughter. This was like a kindergartener with a beard who thinks he has an amazing argument getting refuted by the teacher but stubbornly sticking with it and declaring himself the winner. This is the best Islam has got? And Islam denies one of the most obvious facts of history--that Jesus was crucified. If you honestly believe that, you have thrown out all care for evidence and history. But you seem smarter than that, so I encourage you to look into how 100% of the evidence from the 1st century shows Jesus was crucified, and then ask yourself why He was and why Muhammad got this wrong. May the true God lead you to a true relationship with Him that leads to confidence of eternal life. ❤

By his own admission, this doctrine is taught in the new testemant, not the Old Testament and never taught by other previous prophets. In other words, a great innovation.
Do you believe Allah taught everything about himself in the first chapter of the Quran? Of course not. God continued to reveal more of Himself as time went on, so while aspects of God's triunity are in the Old Testament, of course we get more in the New Testament. Praise God! In the OT, we get a level 1 and 2 understanding of God, then when we've learned that, God goes on to give us level 3 understanding. And when we get to Heaven, we will see there is so much more about God He hasn't revealed to us yet. Praise God! May the Lord open your eyes and show you that Jesus died (to deny this is to deny history and all evidence, as Muslim apologists often do) and rose from the dead and reveal to you why He chose to do that ❤

This in fact is truth. The blessings for doing this however is obtaining knowledge to guard against evil. That is the purpose of leaving all of your worldly obligations and desires to listen amd contemplate the recitation if the Qurán.
i struggle to understand if coming early and listening means coming before the first athan because that wasn't a thing in the time of the prophet, does anyone have a source that talks about it? is the lecture in between the athans and before khutba count in order fot you to take that reward?
@@zinoubensalah8939 I think you misunderstood the purpose to go to the Mosque. It is not required for you to go to the mosque. What is required of you is that if you go to a mosque that you go there clean... bathed is better so that you go to learn the Qurán untethered and relaxed to absorb the knowledge. Now if you choose to stay home or go home for Jummah you would do the same but you would read Qurán on your own or with your family. Basically going to the mosque at the time of prophet Muhammad was because he was the only one with the knowledge to impart to others. Now we have Qurán everywhere. Come back to the light. As you could see in the debate, Hijab failed to show anything incoherent about God being eternally relational. Craig only had 2 minutes each time to reply to these weak arguments, and he still did an excellent job with that. For further explanation, I encourage you to check out his long-form content. It takes 10 seconds to write an equation but much longer to solve it and show exactly how it was solved, so an extended answer would be even more helpful. According to the primary and secondary accounts of the eyewitnesses, Jesus contradicted Islamic belief hundreds of times. It is clear from Jesus' words and the words of His disciples that Jesus is God, but what is even more obvious and can't even be debated by any serious scholar is that Jesus contradicted what Muhammad would later invent and teach and therefore, according to Jesus, Islam is false. May the true Lord bless you! ❤️

In response to Dr LC’s closing statement… I was raised believing in God but having a Muslim father and Christian mother and therefore Christian and Muslim family members. What I’ve found is that most of my Christian family have became increasingly less aligned with Christianity and more aligned with atheism or agnosticism. However all of my Muslim family have remained Muslim. This doesn’t prove anything but this along with other factors does show the strength and continuation of the Islamic belief within my family tree. I have became Muslim in recent years after learning lots of different facts about both religions and comparing them. I found that so many aspects of the Christian theology has contradictions (especially the trinity) and there is a clear failure of preservation of the bible. In Islam everything made sense to me and answered all my questions that I had before about God and religion. I have also found that not a single Christian is sure of their faith and they simply have nothing but faith to rely on, whereas Muslims have both faith and logic/reasoning. I have also found that Muslims r more confident in debates as a result of how confident they r that their faith is true. I even heard Christian’s (that I’ve debated with and those who I’ve seen in interviews) admitting to having “blind faith” in Christianity but believing cause they ‘have had experiences or visions or feelings that Christianity is true. I’m convinced that my mother will eventually accept Islam as she is struggling to refute my points and she herself can’t grasp the trinity but believes that Jesus is the son of God and that the actual God is the father and that the Holy Spirit also exists but she doesn’t understand the actual Christian belief that the trinity is co-equal and she doesn’t believe to at Jesus is God. Even most of my friends that were raised Christian have became more agnostic due to the contradictions in Christianity but they aren’t really interested enough about religion and God to learn about and explore Islam. I also believe that because I wasn’t brought up Muslim and became Muslim due to reasoning between religions, I am more confident that it’s the truth.
Brother Hijab dominated the debate by dismantling the logical incoherences and contradictions within the doctrine of the Trinity. He not only exposed the flaws in Dr. Craig’s analogies but also revealed Craig’s heretical views, which diverge significantly from mainstream Christianity. Hijab effectively critiqued Craig’s rejection of the eternal generation of the Son and his partialist views, while also highlighting the contradictions in the mainstream Christian understanding of the Trinity itself. His deep engagement with logic and philosophy made his argument far more compelling and rigorous.

@vaccino3359 I appreciate the kind words about Craig. The point of the candle is that each match is a sufficient condition for the candle being lit, but that no logical or metaphysical impossibility is entailed in this analogy. That means there is at least one case where overdeterminism does not entail logical or metaphysical impossibility. In order to show that the trinity is incoherent, Hijab needed to show that the trinity cannot be like this example, and must be like the examples he brought up. But all his examples involved physical causes where multiple people cannot fit in the same space, which is obviously not a problem when the cause of the universe's existence is immaterial. So I really don't know where he was going with that...
@vaccino3359 But even if Hijab is right that we're stuck with either (a) one member of the trinity "fully" causing creation, or (b) several members "partially" causing creation, why is that a problem for the trinity? If I were a Christian and really bought Hijab's dilemma, I'd just pick (b) in this case. So again, I don't know where he was going with this...
@joshuapena6757 picking b isn't an option for you since it results in partialism. Partialism is the belief that each person of the Trinity is 1/3 God. For example, Jesus is 33.33% God. Trinity is the belief that all three are 100% God. Partialism is against the Trinity, and is held heretical by the Scholars of Christianity, even Dr.Craig here. Which is why he didn't accept it.
@joshuapena6757 Here's the problem, though: Craig usage of the candle example is misleading. He used the example because, yes, two matches light the candle, but one flame is the result. However, when two matches use 100% of their capability to light the candle, the flame results to be 200%, not 100%. See the point? Dr. Craig is claiming that even though 2 matches light the candle, each with 100% contribution, the candle is still 100%, which is a logical mistake. 1 + 1 ≠1, 100% + 100% ≠ 100%. Btw we as muslims have no problem having respect for educated people like Dr. Craig. We DO, however, have a problem with uneducated psychotic RATS like Scam Shampoo, David Wood, Apus, Avery (Godlogic), and people like such. They don't even defend Christianity. They just base their content on attacking Islam.
Jesus:"I and the Father are one" Jewish listeners responded by saying, "You, a mere man, claim to be God". Jesus: "Whoever has seen me has seen the Father". Jesus: “He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me.” Christians: Sounds like Jesus is claiming to be God and one with the Father. Muslims: No He isn't. Christians: This is what it says directly in the Bible. Muslims: No it doesn't. 🤔🤔

I'm a Christian believer but I didn't watch the debate. I tend to avoid discussing the "Trinity". However I'm not trying to be disrespectful to the scholars involved in this video. And I respect the strong discipline of Muslims regarding prayer and good deeds. Respectfully from Florida USA

Respect and love from Egypt bro. Just a question: What God exactly are you trying to understand his(their according to Christianity?) plan? I am not attacking, I wish you all the best. May Allah guide your heart to Islam, John
God's plan for humanity is very simple: Worship Him and Him alone (since He is the one who created absolutely everything you see before you including you), turn to Him for help and guidance, turn to Him for forgiveness (since we are the creation and not the Creator thus we are not perfect like Him, sin is inevitable for us. God would've never created humanity if humanity were perfect and sinless). Do good things, help those in need, stay away from things He forbids as it is for our best interest to do so since he is our Creator and knows His creation best. He literally gave humanity the blueprints to salvation since the beginning of time through His messengers. Most notably Moses, Jesus, & Muhammad. Every single messenger preached the same exact thing, to worship God and God alone. If you followed what every messenger preached (since they were the greatest examples for the people of their time) then you worshiped the God that they worshipped and worshipped God alone. God entrusted His first 2 written blueprints to the people of the messengers times (i.e The Torah He revealed to Moses and the Injil He revealed to Jesus). Overtime those scriptures were altered by the people, they added, removed, and changed things to fit their whims and desires. God knew this so He made a promise to mankind that He would perfect, protect, and preserve His final blueprint for the rest of time and humanity and that he would clarify what came before. That final blueprint is what you know today as the Qur'an, His final revelation revealed to His final messenger Muhammad. I'm glad to hear you are slowly learning about Islam and I pray that God directs you to sources of knowledge in the religion as opposed to those who may cast doubt in your heart. I truly feel like you are on the cusp of realizing that the answers have been in front of you this whole time. Don't listen to the keyboard warriors on this app or any other platform who put forth emotional arguments that are constantly refuted time and time again. Do your due diligence with humbleness, an open mind and an open heart and I promise you that you'll have a a true sense of clarity on the test that this life is. Peace be with you

Key takeaways: Trinitarian: "There is exactly one God, and there are exactly three persons." Real monotheist: "Okay, so do those three persons have independent wills? If yes, then that's three independent wills. How exactly can you then uphold the logical necessity of there being one single undivided uncaused cause? If no, then what really differentiates these "persons"? What makes each one a "person" that is not the other? You'd simply have to end up saying that Father is Son, Son is Holy Spirit, and Holy Spirit is Father." Trinitarian: "It's three wills, but they always act in harmony due to divine perfect." True monotheist: "So you are establishing a metric of perfection that would be external to each will. Hence, each will is contingent upon the other. So, in effect, you are making the will of God contingent." Trinitarian: "The father is fully God, so he can will to create something without the will of the son." Real monotheist: "If so, then the father is fully God, while the son is not. If not, then the coming into existence of the son is an inhibitor to the will of the father. Ie, the Holy Spirit, and the son have stripped off the omnipotence of the father."

I believe the following points, which were missing in the debate, are helpful: I am Muslim. Here are some questions, I pose to Dr. Craig: Q1. Let us grant that your concept of one god with 3 persons is coherent. The 3 persons out of benevolence and love have the same knowledge, the same will, …. And all 3 act in concert. What would be incoherent, if these 3 persons were 3 gods with 1 person each, with the same properties of the 3 persons of the one god: “benevolence, love, the same knowledge, the same will, …. And all 3 act in concert”? If you were asked to defend polytheism (as an exercise), would you be able to construct a defensible coherent version of polytheism? Q2. Is there anything incoherent in having one god with 2 persons, 4 persons, 5 persons, … n persons (even: an infinite number of persons)?? Is there anything special in the number 3? (I thought special numbers in divine attributes are constrained to be 0,1 and infinity)?? Q3. If the doctrine of trinity is a cornerstone of the knowledge of the true God, should it not be expected that the chosen servants and messengers of God should be aware of it? Do you believe that Noah, Abraham, and Moses knew of trinity and believed in trinity? Q4. Do you believe that the doctrines of the true faith are revealed gradually (step by step), that the Old Testament only revealed one person, the Father, and that the New Testament revealed the other 2 persons? Why is it then impossible, that later, when Christ comes to earth again, he will reveal to mankind the trueness of many different persons, some of which were perhaps mistaken to be Gods in Hinduism and other polytheistic religions? Could it be, that, Hinduism (e.g.), is an evolution of an originally “monotheistic” religion with a “multi-person”-God? Q5. What is the degree of certainty, with which you state your belief in trinity, if you disregard personal experience and restrict yourself to reasonable objective arguments and facts? Is it not all grounded in the degree of certainty of the transmission of the “New Testament” and of the degree of certainty of its interpretation? Q6. But these 2 pillars are at least controversial? There are undeniable proofs of the corruption in the New Testament. Is it “unreasonable” to doubt the honesty and the integrity of Paul? Is it unreasonable to reject the “Gospel of John“ as divine revelation? Didn’t an intelligent man like Isaac Newton, conclude Unitarianism from the same bible? Q7. Do you believe that many Christian communities believed false doctrines of faith in the first centuries (Jewish Christians, Gnostics, followers of Arius, followers of Nestor, the Coptic Church, the Greek-Orthodox Church, the Catholic Church, …) and that it is possible, that all Christians have some wrong doctrines of belief ()e.g. about trinity) for centuries, until some “scientists” reveal the right interpretation of the Bible (perhaps in the 21st century)? Is it not possible, that new reliable manuscripts about the life and teachings of Jesus may be discovered, and that many new errors in the gospels are found? Could it be that these manuscripts will prove the truth of the Christian sect “Islam”?
God is complex, yet allows us to comprehend Him in simple Ways Best analogy is the sun, distinct yet one INVISIBLE Gas Giant, VISIBLE as yellow ball in the sky, GENERATING life through its heat and light The One God, E- Lo- Heem, UNMANIFEST/ As FATHER Who dwells in unapproachable Light MANIFEST in the flesh / The Word/ Logos/ Memra in flesh as JESUS YESHUA INDWELLING SPIRIT Infusing life, flowing from The Father Through His Son into the Believer.
They way he said “Tawheed” I think he was pandering to his Christian audience. He made it seem as if it is something scary. And concluded that it is very confusing. Tawheed is the clearest statement about the oneness of God. Very simple. God is one, He created everything. He doesn’t depend on anything or anyone.
In other words, for the argument of inhibition, using WLC analogy, a single match may NOT be able to ignite an entire log, but 3 matches combined may be able to ignite the entire log. That is to say, he's taking away the omnipotence of Allah (SWT) to ignite any log, and his model is dependent on a combined effect.
Respect to Dr. Craig. Respectful. Thoughtful. I appreciate listening to a debate without personal attacks, deviation and circling. Hijab really exposed the idea of Trinity here. I studied it years ago and couldn't make sense of it. The contradiction lies in the idea that God can be fractioned or separated into parts of a whole.
Exactly 💯 Like if the Father can already create the whole universe by Himself, what is the need of the son and the holy spirit? 👍 + The bible already states that the Father is the ONLY true God and that He is only ONE (John 17:3)
Ask yourself the question: Why did God create us? The answer is: Because He needs us, meaning God is incomplete. Ask yourself: Why did God send Muhammad? The answer is: To guide people. If God sent an angel to Muhammad and did not send anyone else and did not send miracles with Muhammad? Because God is stup id
I think the point he made was if u use two lighters to light a candle, it isn't the case that the two lighter are simultaneously the **direct** cause of the lighting of the candle. Rather the two lighters would both cause a certain amount of fire which would ***partially*** contribute to the creation of a bigger flame. This flame would cause the lighting of the candle. So here u have one cause (the fire) producing an effect (the lighting of the candle. So nothing here entail two distinct entities being fully responsible for the same effect.

This convo dived deep into the heart of Christian doctrine from a critical, philosophical angle. What’s particularly striking is Hijab’s critique of Craig’s representation of the Trinity-it’s bold, and it highlights how even within Christianity, there’s no one-size-fits-all understanding of God’s nature, and Dr. Craig’s bold critique of Aquinas adds a refreshing layer, suggesting that even revered theological giants may not fully capture the biblical essence of the Trinity. The distinction between Social and Latin Trinitarianism is a prime example of this complexity. Craig’s willingness to challenge even Aquinas on this shows that philosophical reasoning is essential in dissecting these beliefs. It’s a conversation that pushes both traditions to clarify their core ideas. Also I liked how Hijab invited Dr. Craig to confront the profound questions surrounding divine nature. He really made him question his beliefs.
ighting a candle with two matchsticks versus one could lead to some subtle differences: Speed of Ignition: Using two matchsticks will likely light the candle faster because more heat is being applied from two sources simultaneously. The combined flame could increase the speed at which the wick catches fire. Heat Intensity: The heat from two matchsticks will be higher than from one, potentially causing the wick to burn slightly more vigorously at the start. Match Burn Time: Two matchsticks might burn out quicker since they will feed off each other’s heat, potentially consuming more fuel rapidly, whereas one matchstick burns more slowly on its own. Wax Melting: The higher heat from two matchsticks could melt more wax around the wick initially, potentially creating a larger pool of melted wax earlier in the process.
I think in essence the physics is irrelevant. 2 people push an elevator button at the same time would be closer to what he wanted to say. each person is fully capable and sufficient. The problem is that since ONLY ONE IS NECESSARY the other would have to be redundant. God is necessary and cannot be redundant. Therefore God is ONE and the trinity fails.
You are not a Christian if you don’t believe in the trinity but investigate it more before you run away don’t take advice from hijab he is a fake Islamist study your own religion and talk to educated Christian’s

Say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists."[47] [47]- Those who associate others with Allāh in worship. (67) Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allāh]. And he was not of the polytheists.[129] [129]- Those who associate others with Allāh.
Let me explain how Craig lost this debate to lay audience: Craig resorted to flawed analogies and examples to defend. Let's extend his flame example to next step, Just imagine two guns shot at the head at the same time. A gun shot to the head means you have a bullet but 2 gunshots to the head means that you now have 2 bullets to the head. In the analogy, a single gunshot to the head represents something complete and effective on its own. One bullet is enough to cause death-there's no need for more to achieve the result. Now, imagine you add a second gunshot. Although the result is still death, something has changed. You no longer have just one bullet-you now have two bullets, which is different from the original situation. It’s not the same as having just one; the overall picture has been altered, even if the outcome (death) remains the same. How does this relate to the Trinity? Just like in the gunshot analogy, one God is enough. Adding more persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-changes the original concept of having a single, indivisible God. With one God (like one gunshot), the concept of God is simple and straightforward: one being, one essence, one authority. When you add the second and third persons (like adding more bullets), even if all are considered “God,” it’s no longer the same as having just one simple God. Now, you're dealing with something more complex, with multiple parts or persons, even though Christians claim it’s still “one God.” The analogy shows that adding persons changes the basic nature of God. Just like having two gunshots isn’t the same as having one, having three persons isn't the same as having just one God. This challenges the idea that God can be truly "one" in the simplest sense if there are three distinct entities, even if they are all part of the same divine being. So, the point is that oneness means one, without anything added. If you add something (like a second or third person), even if it’s still called “one God,” the simplicity of being just one is lost.
@@saidibrahim5931 I think people get lost in the physical analogies. The simplest is something like you push a button and the elevator comes. 2 people do it at the same time even though it only takes one. @@Jadoon0I0critical thinking time: you use Hebrew scriptures to completely misinterpret their verses to justify your false narrative. Seriously think about that for a minute.. You have absolutely no right to use Jewish scriptures which contradict The fake meanings you ascribe to them. But since you have.. take your last reference Isaiah 48:16. Isaiah 48:16 as, "The Lord God and His Spirit have sent me." However, a proper rendering of the verse reads: "And now the Lord God has sent me, and His spirit." The last two Hebrew words in this verse are shelachani ve-rucho ("He has sent me, and His spirit"), with "me, and His spirit" being the direct objects of "sent." Even though a definite direct object is usually preceded by the participle 'et, this grammatical rule is frequently not observed in the Bible, e.g., Exodus 15:9; Judges 5:12; Psalms 9:5, 20:3-4, 45:4. In fact, 'et rarely occurs in the poetic parts of the Bible. Thus, the meaning of the verse is that God has sent Isaiah accompanied by His prophetic spirit. There is no mention of the third member of the Trinity doctrine. Instead, Isaiah affirms that God, who has placed within him the power of prophecy, sent him. The spirit is always at the disposal of God to bestow upon whomever He chooses, as stated in Numbers 11:17, 25, 29; Isaiah 42:1, 44:3; Joel 3:1. If this spirit referred to the third member of a coequal tri-unity god, how could it be ordered about at the discretion of the other members of this group? We see that the Jewish Scriptures teach that "spirit" does not refer to the third person of a tri-unity god. Thus God says to Moses, "And I will take of the spirit which is upon you, and I will put it upon them. . . . And He took of the spirit which was upon him, and He put it upon the seventy men, the elders, and it came to pass, when the spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied. . . . And Moses said . . . 'would that all the Lord's people were prophets, that the Lord would put His spirit upon them'" (Numbers 1:17, 25, 29). Such a condition makes it obviously impossible to consider the spirit as being an associate of God, let alone coequal with Him.
In opening remarks "There are two fundamental tenants 1. There is EXACTLY one God 2. There are 3 persons who are properly called God...That's it. This is a straightforward doctrine." How is this logically sound?

May Allah keep you steadfast in Deen and reward you immensely in this world and next. Ameen
May Allah aza wajjal continue to guide you. Ameen
Best thing is you were CHOSEN by Allah swt himself

Excellent. How can a man 2000 years later claim to understand the trinity better than centuries of Christian scholars? Truth is that the trinity was a later creation, never part of the early Christian theology.

I hope He will guide the rest of those who are ready to find the truth and the right path. In Shaa Allah!
@@James-ny2xl the truth is a hard pill to swallow. Navigating christian Theology is like driving with extremely blurred vision; in the end, you must rely on faith alone to get to your destination.
Praise God!
May the Lord open your eyes and show you that Jesus died (to deny this is to deny history and all evidence, as Muslim apologists often do) and rose from the dead and reveal to you why He chose to do that ❤
@@James-ny2xl please just stop. Aspects of a triune God are not in the Old Testament which is probably why the entire history of Judaism seems to be oblivious to this point 😂 .
@@zinoubensalah8939
I think you misunderstood the purpose to go to the Mosque.
I can't think of any person that calls themselves muslim not owning a Qurán.
So again the importance of these gatherings is for the sake of knowledge to be guided aright and to begin tue discipline required to fulfill your covenant with Allāh without fail not exceeding the limits of your desires within your hearts.
Read the hadiths where muhammad rapes aisha or where allah acts like satan.
I left Christianity due to this very reason.

Muslims repeating the same points they don't even understand doesn't make them true
No example can coherently explain the Trinity as the concept itself is a logical contradiction.
If the father is not identical to the son and holy spirit, then we have to concede that we are talking about three gods not one God.

Dr. Craig is a respectable man, but his arguments for the Trinity, especially the candle analogy part failed miserably just as brother Mohammad said.
Edit: I just learned that this guy justifies genocide and mass murder, including the content in the Bible and genocides like Israel vs children. I take this statement back.
I bet you 1 million you didn't even understand the candle analogy lol

What God exactly are you trying to understand his(their according to Christianity?) plan?
I am not attacking, I wish you all the best. May Allah guide your heart to Islam, John
No reason not to watch the debate man. Exchange of ideas is what helps us develop our knowledge.
God's plan for humanity is very simple:
Worship Him and Him alone (since He is the one who created absolutely everything you see before you including you), turn to Him for help and guidance, turn to Him for forgiveness (since we are the creation and not the Creator thus we are not perfect like Him, sin is inevitable for us.

Key takeaways:
Trinitarian: "There is exactly one God, and there are exactly three persons."
Real monotheist: "Okay, so do those three persons have independent wills?
If yes, then that's three independent wills. How exactly can you then uphold the logical necessity of there being one single undivided uncaused cause?
If no, then what really differentiates these "persons"? What makes each one a "person" that is not the other? You'd simply have to end up saying that Father is Son, Son is Holy Spirit, and Holy Spirit is Father."
Trinitarian: "It's three wills, but they always act in harmony due to divine perfect."
True monotheist: "So you are establishing a metric of perfection that would be external to each will. Hence, each will is contingent upon the other. So, in effect, you are making the will of God contingent."
Trinitarian: "The father is fully God, so he can will to create something without the will of the son."
Real monotheist: "If so, then the father is fully God, while the son is not.
If not, then the coming into existence of the son is an inhibitor to the will of the father. Ie, the Holy Spirit, and the son have stripped off the omnipotence of the father."
Don't forget within jesus himself there are two natures with their own independent mind and consciousness. It's a very easy concept to parse really

I believe the following points, which were missing in the debate, are helpful:
I am Muslim. Here are some questions, I pose to Dr. Craig:
Q1.

Respect to Dr. Craig. Respectful. Thoughtful. I appreciate listening to a debate without personal attacks, deviation and circling. Hijab really exposed the idea of Trinity here. I studied it years ago and couldn't make sense of it. The contradiction lies in the idea that God can be fractioned or separated into parts of a whole.
The main logical question is : Why would you use 2 candles to light 1 flame? :D
Exactly 💯
Like if the Father can already create the whole universe by Himself, what is the need of the son and the holy spirit? 👍
+ The bible already states that the Father is the ONLY true God and that He is only ONE (John 17:3)
Because one is not enough
Exactly, if one can do the job, why have many? Also, why only 3? Why not 30?
And if one alone cannot do the job, then that is not God.
@@shahrukhabdul9889Have you ever asked yourself why the God of Islam created you? 😅
Hijab : Three candles will lead to more fire 😂

He really made him question his beliefs.

ighting a candle with two matchsticks versus one could lead to some subtle differences:
Speed of Ignition: Using two matchsticks will likely light the candle faster because more heat is being applied from two sources simultaneously.
I believe God is one and above all. If that means I'm not a Christian, then I guess I'll find another definition.

Duas, tears and a smile appear Everytime I watch you brother hijab. Always will make dua for you.
Let me explain how Craig lost this debate to lay audience:
Craig resorted to flawed analogies and examples to defend.
Now, you're dealing with something more complex, with multiple parts or persons, even though Christians claim it’s still “one God.”
The analogy shows that adding persons changes the basic nature of God.
Don't waste your time with this propaganda God is 1 and everyone else is created by God very simple.
@@saidibrahim5931 I think people get lost in the physical analogies. The simplest is something like you push a button and the elevator comes. 2 people do it at the same time even though it only takes one. Each person is fully capable and sufficient but only one is necessary which makes the other one redundant. There can only be one God (necessary Entity). God cannot be redundant or codependent etc. so the trinity fails

While WLC had strong moments, especially in defending the biblical doctrine of the Trinity, MH's persistent challenges about necessary agreement, causality, and divine partialism put WLC on the defensive throughout the debate. WLC's shift to a discussion about the resurrection, rather than continuing to address the coherence of the Trinity, made it seem as though MH had successfully cornered him on the topic at hand.

@@purplerain2205 did u read with both eyes closed? I can name a many verses off the top of my head.
Genesis 19:24, John 1:1, Isaiah 48:16
Allaahumma baarik, well done. ❤
