Lars Gule was VERY inconsistent throughout the debate on many issues related to the morality. I 100% agree with Hijab's point that whatever the White men come up with becomes objectively moral.

I don’t think that the Western thinking is entirely developed through liberal thought or philosophy. The influence of islam and christianity is clear. For example the tolerance is based on the sharia system and how it was implementend in the muslim word.
Cutting the hand, the ‘sariq means someone who steals regularly. And there are a lot of conditions before this was applied by the islamic law. Poverty in a society is an example for when it’s forbidden to amputate the hand of the thief.
No Islam does not need to be liberalized. Thanks anyway mind your own business.

This man on his 2nd speech completely missed everything. Actions of Muslims did have racism based on skin sure, that is unfortunate. This debate however is not the actions of people but the function of the system itself. It is why Mohammed said that it is conceivable to be racist and that liberalism doesn't stop it. Meaning You can be liberal and racist without contradiction. In Islam if someone was racist, then it would be a contradiction with Islam. It isn't a more "lighter teachings" or whatever. Number two, he speaks about liberalism as it being not the same as 400 years ago and he is exactly right! Liberalism is ever changing and contradicting with democracy! What he believes so firmly now could be false in the future, while Islam bases/foundations is fixed, yes! That is true, so you are measuring the value of Islam with a morphing political/philosophical belief when it shouldn't ever be the case.

His talk about cultural ideas at 1:54:42 is interesting. After Hijab demonstrated how it logically makes sense to amputate, he still refers it to cultural ideas. You know what is a cultural ideas? To label anything other than what your society deems as a cultural idea and not a legitimate one. How ironic.
