Thank you so much. It is a great fish room, but it’s never finished! I always have something to improve on it. Have you seen my other video showing a tour of it all?
Hiya Jamie! I just picked up my very first London Shubunkin on the weekend and decided to call it Alpine. We were looking at a can of Coors but thought that was a bit of a boring name, so thought of something around that theme but much more majestic. Another name we had in mind was Nimbus, that one might suit your darker blue fish.
@@Mountain_Aquatics really well, it is the most confident of the three fish I took home with me and is already responding to me at the glass! Feeding really well too.
After koi ,shubunkins would be the next fish to keep.I have had some in my garden pond and accidentally sold him because it was as big as some of the koi
No he’s not dead 😂 he just has a bit of swim bladder issues every now and then. Most of the time he is fine but usually after feeding he gets a bit floaty lol.
He has not recovered fully although he is a little better. You are correct it is a swim bladder issue, as you know it is quite common in these types of fancy goldfish.
Hi sorry i dont know your name ? But please would it be possible to do a video showing your fishroom but tel us how you did it , as im hoping to do something like yours, it would help me a great deal and give me lots of ideas ? PAUL from lancashire
Hi Paul, it’s Jamie. I’m doing some work on the fish room right now so there isn’t much to show I’m afraid. But I’m sure I will do a video once it’s up and running again
It’s a fish that has some swim bladder issues after feeding, it’s quite common in fancy goldfish. The fish was being fed Kenta Gas-X in a hope to cure the swim bladder issues and that’s why it was in that tank
@@Mountain_Aquatics fair enough. Feel sorry for fancy goldfish, they're like the disabled fish in the hobby. Don't see what people see in them when normals are so much more beautiful & healthy.
I love your fishroom. Lovely and bright. Those shubunkins look great. Lovely video. Cheers from canada

Yeah… beautiful fish… especially the one floating sideway on the side of the “Quarantine” tank.

Shubunkins are SO great. One of my favorites.
Beautiful fish, do you keep some?
@@Mountain_Aquatics I have 3! They consistently splash me in the face at feeding time 😅
Beautiful fish, really great price.
Great fish, now living a good life in that giant pond lol
Very pretty fish
Thank you Wendy

Pinky and the brain🤟🏻!
I used to love that show !
Is that a dead fish @ 03:20 to the right of the screen. 😳

Rocky and Bullwinkle

Well, didn't know you could show fish😳
Yes I like to think of it like crufts for fish 😂
@@Mountain_Aquatics i'm amazed 😲wow
Hope the fellow up on top recovers from their float I cant imagine youd keep a dead fish in their so I have to imagine its a swim bladder issue

3:25 fish in the bottom right corner, is he ok?

Probably already named but Bonnie and Clyde 😅
I’m sure somebody has already said those 😁

There's a dead fish in that tank so what are you doing risking the two new ones!!!

@@Spacey7 it’s the same as dogs, we breed and keep what we find cute. You’re right, comets and commons are much healthier and hardier fish
I have a 13.year.old goldfish
He used to be red white and black
But now is white all over
Why did this happen.
Fish often change colour with age, the black usually goes first.
Arfa and marfa or Dave and Mabel
👍🏻
Lissy and Dave
Hammerhead n Mako (an attempt to boost their egos)
Good idea
Looks like Fatso 1 and 2 🤣
Great names 😂
