Thank you for this tutorial. This is my favorite star. I use 17 lb paper for smaller FPP projects. It tears out really well and goes thru the printer, no problem. I like rainbow variegated thread.
It has the WOW factor with those nice bright colors on the black. This tutorial gave me the courage to try FPP.

I would choose variegated rainbow thread to quilt. I have done that and its awesome!!
