Aaron Weibe should do a Master Angler series on Uncut Angling going after all 30! I don't live anywhere near Manitoba, but would love to come up to do some fishing!

Aaron it's always a pleasure watching your videos, one that I thought was really cool was when you grabbed deer hair from a road kill, tied a hair jig and started catching some of the biggest crappies I have ever seen! You are an awesome fisherman, and please keep producing videos that we all enjoy!

Thank you for explaining a very important tool for fishing and for Anglers all over Manitoba but also for other provinces I like how you practice conservation and explain it so that it takes the guesswork out for Anglers like ourselves

I wish Alberta had a program similar to this. All of our provincial record fish are based off of weight. If you are being ethical about fish handling, its much easier to take a length and girth measurement instead of hanging a 25+ pound pike or an 8-9+ pound walleye from their gill plate on a hook scale and risk harming or even possibly killing the fish. Steps need to be taken here and I hope it can happen some day to preserve the treasures we have. Posting in May 2020, after catching a 31 inch walleye while fly fishing on our pike season opening day and not wanting to weigh the fish in order to have a healthy release. Fish of a lifetime in southern Alberta for sure, and I want others to have the opportunity at a fish like that for years and years to come

Great leadership on fish handling and conservation as always. Surprised that it's 31 for muskie and 41 for pike. Odd.

Backcountry Angling Ontario and 7 for sunfish? Seems stupid easy. Its 11 for sunfish and 12 for bluegill in wi.

What is the measuring standard? Do we pinch the tail fins together?

Hey I was wondering about Kokanee and if they are still out there swimming in Manitoba waters. Is there any info that I could have on them please

Not currently Cole from what I can tell anyways. There was a point in time when they were a trophy fish that were stocked but are no longer around. I'm hoping they either abolish the fish from the records or stock them actively again. I'd love to catch a big spawned out chinook male one day in our province.

Works much better in an enclosed area such as an ice hub/house or deer stand. You can use it anywhere, anytime, in any weather. I'd just suggest in colder temperatures, but no one can stop you if you wanna use it at 90F.
