*Man! That is Trophy size Brown Bullhead Catfish! Looks like a football with whiskers, fins and a tail!* I've noticed the size of those Bullheads that come out of the White Mud River there in Manitoba are much larger than anything I've ever seen down here in the U.S.

Man that was a chunk! I love that rig. I'll have to use that set up on the Rock River where I live.

One of my buds and I went fishing in this tiny little pond that if you casted a little hard you would hit the other side, and he left his pole out because we weren’t catching anything, 3 hours that rod sat there not a nibble....or so we thought he pulled up on his rod to start to pull it in and that bullhead was enormous for here in Wyoming it was massive, he was 16 inches and faaaaaaaat and honestly one of the best tasting cat fish I’ve every eaten for some reason that fishes meat was very sweet and orangey colored but it was awesome

Sweet catch. I pull in bullheads every morning before work at a little nearby pond, but they are usually a few oz shy of a pound. I have always wondered how big they can get... now I have a pretty good idea! but I imagine they only get monstrous like that in lake-size bodies of water, my little spit-puddle probably wont produce one like that :)

hmm i catch these at a creek but always thought they were yellow bulls by the looks of them when referencing a fish book i have ,,in the book the brown bull looks like its mottled with yellow and brown specks but in real life it looks more like the green yellow mat color of a yellow bull in the book (not real pics but illustrated),,but great amount of meat on them and they make good fillets ,very expensive to buy so im lucky i catch em at night during the summer and have plenty to freeze,,been a long time that creek has not produced unfortunately

Isn’t bullhead an invasive species in Canada?
