    I'm Faren. I big chopped in April 2013. I have medium to low porosity hair, that is super dense at the crown. My haircare regimen includes washing my hair at least once a week, regular treatments (protein, olaplex and bond salve) and trims every 3 months on blown out hair. I am not a hair care professional, and I'm honestly still learning my hair.

    Your hair turned out beautiful. I love this cap. I've been using it weekly for deep conditioning for a couple of years now. I like that it doesn't drip/leak like the water hair steamers do. But if you wear it with a plastic cap underneath it does trap the heat and moisture inside to create a steam effect, which really intensifies and maximizes my deep conditioning sessions, especially for my low porosity hair.

      Thank you so much!!! I’ve really gotta buy some plastic caps, I gotta do better than these target bags I always reach for 🥴

      I just bought this and I have high porosity hair. I hope this works. Do I use after I wash my hair for deep conditioning or would I deep condition with my oil prepoo first then wash my hair?

    • @cryswashington
      @cryswashington Рік тому +1

      Also, do I use low or high heat?

    • @twinmom6009
      @twinmom6009 Рік тому +2

      @cryswashington I use it for pre-poo and deep conditioning. I also use it between wash days to add moisture back to my hair. I spray a little water mixed with leave-in conditoner with mister spray bottle, put on a plastic cap, and then the steam cap for 20 minutes. I use high eat every time because my hair gets really dry, and I need to maximize the steam.

      @@twinmom6009 Oh okay I didn't know I could use it for both in the same wash day. Or should I use it the night before for prepoo and then next day on my wash day for deep conditioning?

    My sister just bought one and I'm so jealous 😭😭. I usually put on a steam cap, heat a damp rag and put on the steam cap then cover that rag with another steam cap. Hope my sis let's me use hers
