@@motodrip1643 I have seen it happen before , So I know for a fact that it's possible , I would take a while to happen , maybe you should comment on something you are educated about 🤦🏼♂️
@@motodrip1643 he's right about keeping it on the hot asphalt tho, you shouldn't let the plate hit outside the new paving...always try to keep it on the hot asphalt
It’s uncommon for the plate to crack, but it does happen especially if it’s a cast iron plate like the one shown in the video we repair tools and we have seen it before
It wont crack unless its made from brittle cast iron but it will wear through. I have a machine from 1988 with a 14mm plate thats worn through on the back side from this kind of bad practice.
Eventually the plate on the bottom is going to crack , you let it beat on the hard surface too much , minimized that keep it on the hot Mat
Plate on the bottom isn’t going to crack🤦🏽♂️

Thats not gonna hold. You need a big impact roller to compact anything literally.
Won't matter first rain and it's gone. There's no oil left in material 😂
How to break the compactor very quickly..
It won't. These things take a huge amount of abuse.
What is the name of that Machine?
Plate compactor
Good
