  • While we’re all spending more time at home, now is the perfect opportunity to organize your gear and dial in your storage systems for future adventures. We’ve tested Yeti’s coolers for a long time, and its LoadOut GoBox 30 ($250) is proving to be just as tough. In this episode of the 101, Bryan Rogala explains why this box has become his go-to camping bin. (Hint: it will likely last the rest of his life.)

I wish they would disclose that it's paid content.

    So, a pelican case?

Definitely give Pelican boxes a try. They have been around much longer and cost less, but are every bit as strong.

Good call Phillip, have been looking at a number of Pelican solutions because they have so many options. But also think there is a case to be made fore something more flexible than a bin. The Nite Ize RunOff waterproof cubes seem interesting because they are still pliable allowing to be crammed into odd spaces.

Agree with your vid. 💯. The same can be said when you buy high 💵 💵 🔧 💵 💵, your going to need a durable tool box Snap-On, Matco, MAC, to protect your investment. Yeti lives up to their prices and sets the standards for other competitors, plus all the colors to choose from😎.

Yeti coolers do perform really well, but I think for these better off with buying more of those front runner wolf packs.

Yeti stuff (other than their drink ware) always seems like it perfectly suits my needs but is always out of reach cost wise

A Rubbermaid Action Packer is $180 cheaper. This is another thing sell to people who love to strap shit to their Douche Tacomas.

Screw this product, buy a pelican case. Specifically the iM2450 Storm Case, as its internal dimensions are nearly identical at 18x13x8.4. And guess what? It costs less at only $163.95. Sick of ads that market a terrible product and people so caught up in the name brand that they'll buy it anyway.

My 1st thought too. My OtterBox Venture cooler is made in the USA and bigger and cheaper than the Yeti

$250!? What are we doing here, and the half ass attempt to justify it for multiple reasons is half baked at best.

It's made in CHINA - what a scam - probably costs 10.00 to produce and 40.00 to ship to USA - GYP, GYP, GYP.

If your cases go in the camper, how are they breaking? I’m being sarcastic here as I know you haven’t broken 15 boxes. If you did, you’re doing it wrong, and that’s on you. I don’t need to spend $250 on a plastic box in anticipation of breaking 15 rubbermaids. What a joke.
