@Bob Bob there are less than 300,000 doses of REGN-COV2 available and it's an experimental drug. Remdesivir is only available when hospitalized and is administered through IV transfusion. There are 40,000 new cases a day. Are all 40,000 supposed to stay in the hospital for five days? The hospitals would be packed with patients. No. If you are young and you are not obese, on chemo, or have diabetes, then you suck it up and get over it.

The "fever reducing medication" (Tylenol, Ibuprofen or Aspirin) might have been self-prescribed because in the USA these drugs are available over the counter and you don't need to be given them by a doctor. So he may have taken them on his own initiative, not because his doctor gave them.

This is one of the main reason we have such a high fatality rate in the United States.

Here is the States we are generally advised to by medical personnel, and consistently take fever-reducing medications. We do they same for our children also. Literally the first time I heard that this isn’t necessarily alway a good thing to do, was on one of your earlier episodes. Truly!

Reporting from another part of Europe, Estonia, I can confirm it is bad idea to take fever-reducing remedies up until the body temperature is 38-degrees Celsius. That's what has been always advised us here for decades. Higher temps are not favorable to virus replication, that's why viruses like your nose tissues - it is colder part of your body - keeping the nose warm in cold weather helps - our blood turning the nose red in these situations is trying to help us.
Above 39 degrees C, it starts to be bad for our brain - so we need to low to temp for brain then or you'll get brain damage. Until then, the immune system raising the temp is doing it for you - don't fight it.

The potential efficacy of famotidine came to light in a Wuhan chart review months ago. They found increased survival in patients who were on this drug pre COVID.
The proposed mechanism is that it inhibits an enzyme that leads to gastric cells producing HCL and therefore helps PUD. An enzyme needed for SARS Cov2 replication is
similarly inhibited. There was an article in Science months ago discussing this. Like vit D, there is little pharma profit to encourage trials. At least one is underway.

No, they gave him drugs to treat symptoms but only three to combat the virus. Of these the antibody treatment could possibly be the least effective, those would sweep up free virus in his blood plasma. The vitamin D and zinc would have stimulated his T-Cell which are the real virus killers. In other words he healed himself after his immune system was repaired ... ... ... Everyone should take vitamin D and the Dr Campbell advises!

Because we have all been exposed to several different Corona viruses from past pandemics and they all share similar RNA code and borrowed and hijacked micro-molecular machinery, there is partial T-Cell immunity memorization response happening in every new infection with SARS-COV-2, even though it is considered a novel virus. This is precisely why in the vast majority of the infections, the symptoms are very weak or completely benign and are being snuffed from the white Blood Cells lymphocyte's, at the onset. (MPIE) mass population immunization by exposure (herd immunity) is the only way this type of virus outbreak ever comes to an end, through virulence dilution by infection saturation throughout the healthy population.
History dictates that a vaccine will not be effective for SARS-COV-2, as they have never been effective in history for any Cor/viruses , (and very poor flu virus response also) due to the rapid antigenic shift (mutating) properties of the spike or surface proteins within the viral RNA polymerase caused by the hijacked malfunctioning Ribosome's, replication transcription system inside the cells nucleus. By the time a vaccine is developed and tested the viral RNA genomic blueprint will have altered enough to make the vaccines effectiveness nullified and useless and round it goes with microbiologists/chemists, always playing a dog chasing its tail catch up game with a perpetually error prone and weakening virus. In other words, natural acquired antibody immunity (herd immunity) by the healthy population in essence, is the only real protection the very vulnerable high risk population has from serious infection.
Instead of trying desperately to prove to the world that they were right, it is long overdue, the scientific community and world leaders come together without political bias and concede, that the pandemic is over by the overwhelming and undeniable amount of scientific data and is well into what is known in epidemiology as the pathogen endemic, equilibrium phase. (viral stasis) The high case counts with very low casualty numbers are a normal predictable pattern of all Corona viral outbreaks, that have weakened from immunity response to massive population infection spread and saturation, to the extent it becomes nothing more than another common cold like annoyance.

My husband had a really BAD reaction to the season Senior Flu shot last Fall. He had a fever and ended up having to take Tylenol to bring down the fever. Could it be that the antigen med had produced a false positive on a PCR, therefore, a bad reaction like my husband had to the "Senior Seasonal Flu shot" and he's taken it every year but, last Fall was the first time at that point? I know that there are potential legal ramifications to saying one thing or another but, I'm going to say it. With all flu Jabs it induces the viral load so the Antibodies can react to it. If he is very ill once the vaccine has been induced then he hasn't got the necessary antigens to fight the virus.
Once the fever has eased he will have the Antigens to irradicate the virus.
I advise everyone to have the flu vaccine weather it gives you near death feeling or no reaction at all.

The fact that steroids bumped up his feeling of energy and stamina, this is likely the main reason the doctors are using it. The fact that Trump at first refused O2 because it was a visible treatment Indicating serious illness. Likely his main complaint was fatigue and weakness. A shot of steroid boost will give him the treatment showing the image he wants to project.
I doubt he understands how steroids work with the immune system. It would be risky to give it too early in the disease process though. Interfering with the needed immune response is as dangerous as having the immunity in overdrive, especially in the lungs.
Just my opinion, I don't know much on how these new drugs work with the older ones in a disease we are still learning about!
I sincerely hope the President changes the social distancing and mask wearing policies in the White House and actually uses his masks, as well as sticking strictly to isolating himself from others. And remains away from people until he has at least two negative tests and not just get back out doing "in person rallies" again, just because he feels well enough.
Isolation and quarantine are not about how HE feels. It's about protecting EVERYONE ELSE around him. Thank for the video. Things get stranger and stranger as this year heads to a close!
