I was thinking "This is an amazing cover of Field of Hopes and Dreams, but I'm not really feeling the Touhou in it-" and then 1:40 hit and I realized how wrong I was. This is impressive.
I love the allusion to asrial Toby fox made, even with the music 1. It’s called “field of *hopes and dreams*” and just the feeling of the song makes me think of rainbows and stars or hyperdeath,
I dont know the technical music terminology but this song uses the same key and chords used in asriel's Hopes and Dreams. You could interchange the songs halfway through and they'd still flow pretty well. In fact i really want a remix where they do that.
Ah touhou album style--- ZUN touhou albums are always my favorite things (more than his game songs imho) and you made Field of Hopes and Dreams with Legends of Aokigahara music style ahhhhh this sounds like heaven~☆
The best thing about this is that Field of Hopes and Dreams is already supposed to be in the style of Touhou. Hell, Toby even made it start like a Touhou song with the visuals
Never heard the original theme song. Frantically listening to Smooth McGroove led me here tbh, but I stayed here way longer than I should've. This is amazingly well done! I literally felt like I was in one of the stages in touhou games. Now I really need to listen to the original. Thanks!

After 500 years, I'm finally able to comment on this video, so now I can properly express how this is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard.
To be honest, with all these remixes of deltarune, i think that delta's music is even better than undertale. Seriously, how tf does toby manage to put such a good air of happiness in the air with some simple music
This sounds so expressive and alive! I don't really know how to explain it, but I think in a lot of ways it sounds better than the original! I feel it has more voice and "expression."

Reecekun some of the songs loop in weird ways, for example, the forest theme abruptly cuts off when it loops. This song’s loop isn’t to bad imo but I can see it being sorta annoying. The song’s a bop tho so that keeps me distracted.

The way that he does it, however, makes the loop seem very obvious like it's screaming in your face "HELLO I EXIST!!" When you look at games like Pokémon, the loops aren't as obvious and is more subtle. You can definitely tell where the song loops back, but there isn't an awkward silence or build-up in the middle of the battle.
