Same here... (X10DRi dual E5-2698v4) spent much time to understand rank, n. slots/frequences and this video clarified to me all about it. He has so few followers just because Supermicro looks like the grandpa of any MB. Is not cool. 🤣
@@redone823 Well, didn't find 64GB ecc 2400 x cpu 75% off like Curious corpse, Just purchased 32GB total, 8X 4GB 1Rx8 2133 ECC for €80. Everything is coming, thermaltake core x9, supermicro, ram, cpus, power supply... I pray that everything is going well. 🤞 Because everything is used. 😉 I think this is the cheapest 40 phisical core rig in history. 😁
Anyway you can provide a link of the same ram so I can get it when it goes on sale? I think i found the right one on Amazon but it list if it was x8. Thanks
Nice video.I am getting a X10dri-t. I am new to twin cpu's.I was wondering if I can put 8 QRx4 32GB in the blue slots and 8 more later in the black slots?or put 8 QRx4 64GB in the blue slots?
You can do that with the 32 gig but I would have gone with the 4x 64 gigs per CPU to avoid filling all banks up, but you;ve probably figured that out by now
