Well done, another great clip and as Claim To Fame man I have finally got the first comment. Couldn't get a ticket for Liverpool though so will have to catch up with Arthur at a later stage.
Love Count Arthur, should have been given a 4th TV series, far funnier than a lot of stuff on nowadays. I am currently half way through his book, brilliant stuff.
His tv series only ran to 3 series yet Miranda and Mrs Browns boys keep getting recommissioned.Someone at the BBC needs to have a long hard look in the mirror.
its a scripted act between them both, it was the highlight entertainment for the book festival, she played a great straight act... got quite a few fooled on other clip comments.. it worked well, very well rehearsed between them both
Simply brilliant ,bloody BBC had a truly funny show, third season not as good as the first two but still good,'and better than the crap and it isn't a comedy Open all bloody hours
No. The reason you think that is because he's a great comedic actor. A wordsmith. The creator of, imo, the funniest character, I've had the pleasure to listen and watch.
It’s 2020. And I’m crying with laughter. Brilliant.
I feel so honourable to see such an extinguished personality !

I've always loved ad laughed at Arthur!

Old Larry Trafalgar, I really do.
His rambling style is a real hit. Pity, again, about the sound quality and the sometimes nonsensical sub titling.
I'm not sure but the interviewer actually seems to think he's for real and not a comic actor in character. Or she could be a great actor herself.
Whichever it is, they're working well together. Arthur Strong is a modern day yet old fashioned, 'instant classic' comedy character. Hilarious!
No, she's obvs a literary fest toff. She's aware that he's a character but doesn't quite get the joke.
+FarbFella it is confusing . amazing .

Not scripted. Was introduced to her at the side of the stage as we went on... haven't seen her since.
an 100 😂😂
An ignored talent, even in 2018. Probably non-PC now.
the extension of belief is dixon of dock leaf money in the post
