For those replaying this mission, never save or load before the Signal Transmitter objective come, loading that save file before this objective comes up just hasten the mothership deployment as soon as the load complete, therefore immediately give the failed objective to destroy the transmitter if you've no Ion Cannon.
I don’t know why, but at about 10 minutes, I get rushed from all sides from legendary airborne and ground units. It’s unrelenting. And this is on normal!
@@zeroQuantumNull I beat it usually by establishing a forward base on the southeastern hill to block my flank so I can focus on teching up to Mammoths and firehawks.
You can rush the right air base with missile squad spam (30+) kill or capture both air factories and the defenses but leave the command center alone. It won't rebuild anything. If you do kill that command center it will cause the mothership to spawn early and you'll fail the optional objective. Ideally capture one of those air factories and build your own Scrin command center for the tech. Once you have that base taken out the AI will be acting aggressive so go on the defensive, but now your harvesters can safely harvest the right side tiberium fields and that should allow you to stabilize. Once stable just expand to the center of the map and build up a scrin deathfleet with the blue tiberium.
might try this 1 day , just played this mission on hard and it just spam me with flyers , at the end i could not do the side objective because the AI spam a large amount of units and i cant destroy it.
No matter what I do I just can’t fight it the spam they send is unbearable given I’m playing the 360 version because yes it still works but I’m pretty sure the AI was fixed for the remastered cause these AI are broken as fuck.
A good strategy overall. I seem to end up getting hit by more air units than you did, and the issue I run into is that my Firehawks end up killing themselves by firing their missiles right next to the enemy and getting caught in the explosion
Yeah, that's why you got to manually aim at the air targets from a distance, if your firehawks are too close to the target, the aoe splash damage will destroy your own air.
Keep your Firehawks divided in groups of 8 or less in tight formation when attacking targets. This way you don't have missiles from your rear Firehawks hitting your front Firehawks.
