Bay Trees are quite slow growing in the UK esp if in pots. If the soil conditions are spot on then you can expect about 30cm a year growth on younger plants
@ Provender Nurseries. Is it possible you could do a video on how to grow bay trees from cuttings (also how to take cuttings) in a UK climate. I'm a complete novice with a limited budget hence wanting to grow from cuttings. Also can you show us how to create the cork screw on the bay trees. I googled with no answer.
Hi. Many plants benefit from a feed once a year. Best to feed with a good slow release fertiliser. If your plants are in a pot it may be that the soil needs replenishing too.
@@tieniestoffberg8597 well with the amount of water falling down from the skies in the UK, there's not much I can do... they are doing better tho, I think they didn't like to be re-potted.. but they are better now after some feed. thanks

It’s funny that she keeps saying “ of course everyone is familiar with bays”-here in Houston TX bays are rarely seen in our nursery!
What is TX?

It would probably be best to check out cutting information on the RHS website. W do not propagate Bay Trees on site or on our growing nurseries.
can I buy the bay tree from your website? what is your website?
Hi, my bay tree has gone a bit yellow.. I do water it regularly, do you think it needs feeding? yours are so green.. what can I do?? cheers..

@@provendernurseries577 thank you!
@@nuritorres2468, you may be over watering the plant. I find that over watering is more likely to be an issue than anything else for leaf issues.
Dont overwater a Bay tree. Its a Mediterranean plant.
