@@thoraldshib4393 nothing will change for Restored, we will continue posting as usual with the added extra videos to Turnin Rust as well.
Excellent! Looking forward to it.
@NUNLEY17 Texas
That's confusing. Why both channels?! It's possible to change the name of a UA-cam channel. Maybe change the name of this one to 'Turnin' Rust Restored'? Ought to be a way to move all the videos from one channel to the other.
This story sure brought back memories, about 60 years ago, my buddy's father brought one home, a little better condition, looked new compared to yours. His father always tinkered with "odd" cars. It brought back memories of some very happy days. Love the channel.
This will forever be known as the Urkel car in my mind. I didn’t even know they were real “mass produced” vehicles until I was in my early 30s.
A Lotta people didn’t… I did my research years ago and figured it out!🤷🏾♂️
whats a urkel car?
@@yeahright302 watch the show “family matters” it’s the first car Steve Urkel bought on the show!!
Hahahaha did I do thaaaàt lmao
🕺"did i do that..." 😂
That little dude is so cool!! Thanks y'all for sharing. Many blessings...
Solo los que restauramos cosas sean autos , motocicletas o cualquier cosa sabemos lo gratificante que es verlos trabajar de nuevo gracias por estos momentos tan bonitos que nos hacen pasar saludos desde México.
I've been watching since Turnin Rust. The old channel had a magic that kept me watching. Your new channel has it's own magic that I think is better than what you made in the past. Thanks for great content!
yeah their editing has gotten a lot better on their pre-recorded stuff. finding their groove.
Rust rules... You too! Thank you for reviving so many forgotten classics! Greetings from Argentina 👍
This would be so cool to see fully restored! Love it! 🥰
Yes yes i would love that
I had one of these little gems in the 70's. It has a 3 gallon tank and I got close to a 100 mpg. a big saver. I love your channel.
Iconic statement "It's missing a door handle." The eternal optimist.
Great episode. I was very pleased to see that little beast cruising down the road. You guys have some outstanding patience and skill to pull that off. It would have been hilarious at the car wash if you had washed away the suds and there was a newly restored Isetta underneath.
-OR IF half that car went right down the drain.
Had to believe how many of these Isettas y’all have found , I had never seen one but in a car show in Dallas , never saw any and I traveled all over East Texas with my Grandad while he delivered Butane and Propane when I was younger .
you guys amaze me with these little cars !🤯 what knowledge you have.
great vid's all the time!
may God continue to bless & watch over you 🙏 🙌
When you were opening the door I was waiting for steve urkel to jump out 🤣🤣
I'm watching this in the UK. My dad had an Isetta 'bubble car' . May dad, my mum, my sister and me travelled thousands of miles in it! Brilliant to see what you did with it. Well done guys.
Definitely the car i want to own! the ONLY and THE ONE car that makes me smile without the reason whenever i see it!
That was both super fun and enjoyable to watch. It's amazing that little engine still run after being dormant for 40 years. Nice job gentleman. Thanks for the great entertainment.
I think about a modern car sitting 40 Years at that site.....no of that electronic engine things will still do anything....all condenser are dryed...all connectors are coroded....all plastic pipes gone
No chance to get it on the road again like this mechanic thing
Great entertainment. Love the content and your ways of working through and explaining the process of getting these old jewells running . Definitely subscribing to turning rust.
I love the sound these old cars make when they have practically no exhaust, loved the pops and fire when you changed gears on the speed test. Can't get enough of these revivals, keep on wrenching.
I laughed so hard when you first started driving this thing !!!! 45 mph ?? You're a brave man !!!
I LOVE the work you guys do getting these cars going again. I thought this one was a goner. No smoke from that engine!
I have said it before and I’ll say it again. The two reasons that I enjoy your channel is because of the content you all produce. The other is the amount of love and respect you all have for each other.
That alone makes your Dad one of the richest men on the planet. For a son and daughter to have the level of love and respect is every dads dream.
I’m not a deeply religious person but I am very spiritual. I do believe God put you all on this earth to show the rest of the world what it means to be a family. Thank you all for another great video. Bless You All ❤️🙏
Happy to see Turnin Rust back. Just shows how being faithful even in the hard times God will bless.
From no go to 45 mph in 2 days. Great job. Will it be restored?
those words you said in the beginning hit me like a ton of bricks my grandfather passed away and his funeral was two weeks ago he was 98 years old but he lived many lives I would say and meant a lot to many people and something about how you said that finally made it go from feeling like a negative to a positive he's living his next life now. rest in peace opa
I just want to say how much I enjoy your channel. Can’t get enough. It is beautifully shot. The camera work is amazing. Thank you
First time I saw one of these was in 1969 in my hometown of Kailua, HI. And old lady used to drive one around town. I thought it was one of the coolest cars I’d ever seen. I still feel that way. I always wanted one. 🤙🤙🤙
Can’t help it😂 You look so funny riding in that thing! MamaCard still chuckling in Florida!
Thank you for all the quality content! This has become my favorite channel and an inspiration. I have recently completed a frame off restoration on my 66 bronco and will be driving it from Washington state to Florida next month! Keep the videos coming, they are appreciated!
I’m thoroughly amazed. I thought that was a waste of time. You guys proved me wrong. Again. Now I want to see this thing on the road ❤️
Great little car I ran one of these in powder blue in the 70's most I ever had out of it was 52 mph. Brought back memories...Take care, cheers from the UK.
What is that in kmh?
@@darrenswails 83.7 Km/h
Great seeing you guys bring that little car back to life. Awesome job !
You guys are the best car restoration channel on UA-cam in my opinion. I enjoy your videos way more over others.
That was amazing!! There were quite a few of these around in the 60's in the UK where I grew up but I think they are almost extinct now. Your video made my day! Thanks for sharing and best regards from Ireland.

I remember growing up in the UK, my Mom's friend had one, I can still picture it, red & cream with plaid seats!
Hi
HI GUYS ,, GREAT TO SEE YA!! AGAIN .. ANOTHER CUT DOWN WOODS ,, HA!! I NEVERSEEN ANY CAR LIKE THIS ,,THIS IS GOING TO BE A CLASS.. VERY COOOL ITS LIKE A GO-GO CART WITH A ROOF,, THANKS,,, THANKS FOR SAVING ANOTHER LITTLE LIFE... PEACE!!!!
I was born in 1947. In Belgium. I was 18 in 1965. At 60 Km/h a BRAND NEW BMW Isetta scared the bejeezis out of me in the pourng rain on cobblestones with tramway rails in short curves ... They did last forever, though.
Fantastic ! 👏 👏 👏 We called them "Bubble Cars" in the UK. I well remember them in the 60s!
These cats know how to edit and create excellent quality, regardless of the vehicle .. . well done !!!
Great to see one running again. My brother built one with a Harley 45 flathead and Servi Car rear axle. It was his hobby until he drove it once. It went to junkyard heaven.
I love this!!!! You guys are great and Sis does a great job filming and editing.
I enjoy watching this father and son team up to give new life to forgotten machines ! Thanks!
45 MPH with no brakes, you're a braver man than me!!!!
That brings back happy memories of my BMW Isetta 300 my first car bought while still at school 15 years old, never knew these were sold in America. Sold it for £9 just over $10 worth serious money now.
It was pretty cool seeing the isetta rescued. Be careful running an unserviced motor. They don't have an oil filter. There is a slinger on the end of the crankshaft. If it fills up with crud it will just overflow crud. A lot of them grenade after about 12,000 miles because nobody ever cleans the slinger. Also, be careful driving with the old rubber donuts on the shaft between the chaincase and the transmission. If that old rubber fails at 45mph it will wreck the transmission cover (very expensive part now days compared to replacing the rubber donuts). I have 5 complete cars plus a couple of spare bodies and enough spare parts to build another car out in my barn. My car I drove most of the time would get to 55mph.
I’m new here. My father bought a BMW Isetta new in the late 50’s / 60’s here in the UK when he was dating my mum. Some of the Isetta’s were 3 and 4 wheeled. While I worked for BMW in London in the 90’s I was fortunate to drive a customers Isetta, it was kinda scary but fun driving at 40 plus mph!
A gas powered quadricycle. The Microlino now being made in Italy is a revival of the BMW Isetta and the Citroen Ami is its spiritual descendant. Fun to drive and it looks cute!
I can't stop smiling watching you drive this little Isetta I bet there's no way to have a frown while driving it
i absolutely love how you guys fix anything with a motor and wheels!
Sooooo sweet!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 pleas restore this little baby!!!!!! 🙏🤩😍
BMW Isetta..... the Car of Future
Awe lol the GoPro you had strapped on top of the car was almost bigger than the car great video thank you for sharing I'm paralyzed in a wheelchair I wish I had a little car or something like that I could get around in if even just to put around in the yard
The general knowledge provided in these videos is remarkable. Thanks for the content. Y'all are some true good ole boys.
Awesome introduction & awesome video as always. Nice to see y’all Lance & Dad. Blessings from California to Texas🇺🇸
I remember when I lived in the UK back in the 70s there was one of these fitted with the motor and back end of a Kawasaki Z1000 motorcycle. Bit of a dragstrip terror!
Just amazing getting this going again. Loved this one for sure. Thank you for sharing! God bless
Congratulations on the professional work of making this antique work 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💯💯💯
Loved it. Please do more: It's very cool. You folks are wonderful. Thanks and God bless.

Beautiful project! Go on!
You always amaze me ! Good work both on the car and camera! Thanks…
It's 1 30 in the morning here in the UK, just enjoy you guys so much, just wondering who will fit in the car?
This is so cool! I bet 45 felt like 105 in that lil thing!
Great job with everything! Fun to watch! The person editing your videos does a really good job!
My favorite channel by far! "Smiles for Miles" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Man, I'd kill to find an Isetta even in that condition. Great to see it running.
What a really cool little car! I didn't think you guys would get it running and driving, but boy you proved me wrong! What a great little small town, get around, little ride. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Restored great job on the old girl! She does need some love but it is cool to see her going on the road again! Also great to hear Turnin Rust is back!!
You guys did an amazing job bringing her back to life, the Isetta is always a wonderful car to see even if its in rough shape
God bless these great folks
This is by far one of the best cars by far if im honest tho the bmw izetta is my dream car as quirky and small as it is.
so yes seeing this getting worked on makes me smile.
Love the content can't wait to see more.
Love the car design, especially the big eyed headlights.
Holy cow that was awesome! Smiling ear to ear watching you motor that thing down the highway. Nice work fellas!
It's not commonly known, but jumper cables are closely related to the phylum family of creatures, being worms and snakes.
Hence our constant fight with them coiling up and in and through themselves. It's a lot easier to just hang them straight.
Love those Isettas. Got a real laugh when it went past the wheels of your trailer, you could see how tiny they are.
And I always thought “rip the seat out” was more of an expression 🤣
Great video and channel! I can’t believe you got that running, just great family teamwork. What a neat little car! Thank you for sharing. Starting to go through the turning rust videos, thank you for pointing that out.
That is a neat little car.
Congrats Guy's on getting the Little Rust Turd running and driving down the road. 45mph is good.
I don't know where to start with that car. It's a laugh a minute. Subscribed
INCREDIBLE!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!! ....SAVE THIS OLD GIRL PLEASE!
Crazy. Love your channel guys. Keep up the great work. Like the music too. Cheers from Canada!

Oh Boys , im from Germany. I Look your Videos every time. But this with the BMW Isetta thats the best ever I Seen. Very very good....
Fantastic videography and editing. As we say in West Virginia: “You done a good job.” 👍🏻🇺🇸
Really liked this one, just amazed that you both got it running, not even thinking you would drive it down the highway.
But I should have known you guys don’t give up.
Great content best on Utube.
One of the best videos I’ve seen brilliant brilliant brilliant
As a German, I have a special relationship to BMW Isetta as a part of our car history. Allow me a question, is there no vacuum cleaner in your shop to get rid of all the dirt inside the car before focusing on engine and wiring? ;-) Great channel guys! Thanks for entertaining!
no matter how old, it still sounds like a new one just is clappy LOL
