Get your CDL with Wilson Logistics and use my referral cod: Couphr
Happy everything is working out . I’m looking forwards to get in with Wilson.
Thank you for honest assessment
The waiting sucks so bad
Dont give up ✊. First few loads can be a challenge. Don't let your guard down once you get better
Thank you for that! 🤙🏻
Just SUBCRIBED 51 Logistics sent me keep your story going
Heck yea man! Thanks been following you for awhile. You are a big reason I felt comfortable making this career change.
You got this Opey... It just gets easier. Drive your skill level don't be over confident be overly cautious
Thank you. It’s getting better and better each day
I haven't seen you upload any videos in a while. I hope all is well for you and your family. Let us know how you are, when you have time, please. Thank you. Take care....🤗💖🙏
37 is crazy and I have drove in higher winds, but I remember my first time its very scary
Forsure. Have you been out to Wyoming yet? Here they have bad winds
@@truckingjourneychronicles lol 😂 yes their wind will make you prepare for anything them and South Dakota but i been to every state but new york, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and maine
You got your super trucker headset on, you'll be good. Everyone has rough drive shifts in the beginning
Lol you know it. Getting better and better each day.
You got this opie....just like here everyday you were more and more calm and confident.....deep breaths and get out and dance lol
Thank you! After the first day my confidence got 100x better. Out here in NY now.
You got this man ill be heading to wilson in April can't wait super excited
Thank you! Have you started working on your CDL permit and physical?
@@truckingjourneychronicles I just passed my cdl permit and going hopefully this week to get my physical only thing im kind of confused about is the diffrence in dot physical and the dot long physical card
@@seanhobbs1989 I believe the card is just a piece of paper saying you passed or whatever then the long fort has all the info the doc wrote down during the physical. Ask for it. When I went the doc said she gave it to me but she didn’t so I just called Walgreens and they emailed it over. Make sure to keep the receipt and give to your recruiter when you pass your test.
@@truckingjourneychronicles gotcha that makes sense what was the hardest part for you passing the cdl exam I've litterly been studying every part of the pre trip and soaking up as much as I possibly can so I will be more prepared when I get there im use to driving a regular pickup truck and trailer is it basically the same with tractor trailer? Sorry for all the questions I know your busy but your the only person that has actually replied back to me with questions
@@seanhobbs1989 no problem man. I’m in Ny right now waiting to drop off a load at 1:00 in the morning so I’m free.
If you are studying your pretrip you are going to do great. The test consist of 3 parts: 1)pre trip 2)backing portion 3)road test
I didn’t study the pre trip much before going to Springfield so when I got there it was alittle overwhelming learning all of it but it only took me the first week and I had it down. I’d so 90% of people that don’t pass the first time fail in the backing portion. They’ll teach you the steps to the backing maneuvers and make sure you study those hard. Say them to yourself several times a day.
Hey, if you can build the confidence going through the construction in Dallas, you will be good I was the same way going through Dallas. Try it when it is raining. You will be ok I promise
Thank you! Getting better and better each day. Yesterday was tough going through mountains in NC and Virginia. Really fogging at spots too
So nice to hear from you, Opey. I look forward to seeing your videos & replies pop-up.
I know our paths just recently crossed, but you instantly became a part of me - like family... Or like I feel, hearing from my own kids.
So happy you and your trainer are safe.
I have two weeks til my DOT physical and then I'm getting my CDL-Permit. After that, I'll be calling Wilson for my start date.
Stay safe, my friend. I truly appreciate YOU. 🤗💖🙏
Thank you! Let me know how the permit and physical go
@@truckingjourneychronicles
I will.
Also, I saw in a comment, that you have a driver referral code? I'd be happy to submit it when I get my start date. I just need your code. Thank you. 🤗💖🙏
@@jeannette1111 awesome. My code is COUPHR
@@truckingjourneychronicles
Sweet.... I screenshot it. I'll be sure to let Wilson know.
I have studied so hard reading the CDL knowledge handbook. I took a practice test and scored a 98%.
So I feel confident taking the test next week. I'll keep you posted.
Be safe. And, stay happy. 🤗💖🙏
