Hi jayda how are you doing today I am doing fine today your butterflies are very beautiful colors and very beautiful work thank for sharing stay safe 💙🌹💙
Hi Jayda, I taught myself to crochet using your demonstrations, thank you so much. I'm now making a Granny Square blanket for my daughter. I've just seen this post and am so excited. I'm going to make these and sew them onto the top of the blanket in random places. Yay - so exciting. Thanks so much for sharing your talent.
Hello Jayda, hope all is going well. I was trying to come up with something for my mom for Mothers Day and I came across this video. I am going to make her the daisy garland and put these butterflies on it. I think she would love to hang it somewhere in her home. Thank you again. Oh and I'm having fun with the Tunisian calender blanket.
Laura Filby Thank you Laura!! I don't always feel like a grown woman LMAO but that's ok by me! My wonderful, dear grandmother died in her 80s and I think she was easily described as 'cute' for most of her life :) I think I get my giggle from her :) *warm happy thoughts*
Thank you. I love this little pattern. Great for making a lot of things. I used a 2.0 mm hook and made a little pin using seed pearls for antennae. Then used 1.50 mm with gold thread and made little earrings.
Thanks, great teaching, loving it, very easy to make, I will be doing a chain, and earrings, will see if i can do a ring also, thanks again, great job, was laughing wings and rings.
OMGosh these are to die for.... ;D Another precious DEFINITELY one-of-kind creation by U & I'm in love!!! These are a MUST in my collection...now if I can only remember which stitch goes in the "ring 4 the wing".....lol!! Say that 3 times really fast, right???? Peace & Blessings, lynda
jayda i love your butterflies and i was wondering if you could make them bigger. and i love all your videos i have made several things i never knew how to make a granny square till i seen your video now i can and i am making a blanket .. so thank you for the great videos
These are wonderful! I wonder about making bats for Halloween time. They'd look great in a bunting with the little ghosts you did, and maybe some pumpkins.
Hi Jayda I really love your work. I am making several things for my sister that is moving away very soon & I would like to make her a bag for her store grocery bags. I have seen several but they are very plain no personally. LOL I found one in a book of mine & its called bag lady its real cute but just wondered if you might have a pattern for one cause you are so talented. Thank You & God Bless
This is adorable! I love all the little things you do. I was wondering if you had a pattern for an applique of a sunflower? I have been looking all over and even tried my own. None were very good. I just wanted something cute and little to put on my purse as a remembrance for my mom who loved sunflowers.
Hi Jayda I love all your tutorials! I'm happy to come across your cute Butterflies.. I'm a beginner crocheter many thanks to you! You are an excellent teacher. I'm going to be a first-time grandma and I'm in charge of the decorations at the baby shower the theme is pink & purple butterflies. My question is I want to put a magnet on the back of the butterfly what can I use for this? Do I use a hot glue gun or super glue or tacky glue? I want to make enough butterflies that way each guest can take one home and put it on thier refrigerator and always think of baby June. I think I'll just weave a piece of ribbon on the back of the butterfly and wrap it around the napkin of the silverware so each guess we'll have a butterfly to take home.
Hi Barbara, what a cute idea! You could definitely use a hot glue gun to add magnets to the backs of these butterflies (just don't hold the hot gun nozzle against the yarn for too long, just to help avoid any melting).
Connie Manning Hi Connie! I'm guessing you'd like something flat? I'll keep my eyes open! I haven't come across anything like that yet - cute idea too!
Thank you Jayda. All the patterns I see , they tell you to crochet circles, shape them and sew them all together to look like a bunch of grapes. Lol...That's a lot of circles to crochet I'm still looking and hoping to find one. Thank you for your help. :)
Hi Jayda! I just found your wonderful tutorial here and I’d like to make a bunch of these adorable butterflies to decorate my craft room for spring 🦋😀. I have a quick question ... will 100% cotton yarn work for this? I have a ton of scraps from recent dishcloths I’ve made. Thanks!!! 🌸💗
Thank you Jada I'm fairly new to this I am 68 years old and I enjoy watching you with your tutorials very much and I will keep following you this is my first time doing this little butterfly but it turned out great and I put two little white pearls on each corner and I put a string on it so whoever I give it to you can hang it up somewhere or do whatever they like to do but it turned out beautiful and I thank you very much

Connie Manning Hi Connie! I'm guessing you'd like something flat? I'll keep my eyes open! I haven't come across anything like that yet - cute idea too!
Could they be turned into earrings?
Certainly! I would use crochet thread or embroidery floss to make them smaller and a 2.00 mm hook 😊

Thank you. .I'm still looking too..I do have one idea in mind but it's still in the early stages. Will send u private msg if it works out. ;)
Connie Manning Yes please! :)
Can this be done with out the craft wire??
Hi Shandie, you can tie yarn around the middle instead, but you can really add the little beads (they'll just end up flopping around) :)
Can you make a tutorial for a crochet penguin applique please? Wanted to make one for family and is struggling with other people's videos
Hi Emily, thank you for the suggestion!
