    Hi, Jayda! I’ve made several of these wonderful daisies, and they’re so pretty! Have you considered doing a poinsettia flower appliqué? They’d be pretty done with thread and starched and hung on a tree like a snowflake ornament. ❄️

      I have made granny triangle bunting, shell stitch scarf. Also a sunflower granny square blanket for my nephew. Just wanted to try daisy flower granny square. I replaced colors of daisy flowers in sunflower granny square pattern and made a bag. I wish I could show you the work. :)

    Jayda, I wish I could take a private lesson with you! I watch your videos and try to do what you do, but my finished product is never as cute as yours. I guess I'm still a beginner so I should just keep practicing... Thanks for your videos though... I watch them repeatedly. ;)

    • @JaydaInStitches
      @JaydaInStitches  9 років тому +1

      Kim Rich Ahhh Kim, you should see some of my early attempts at crochet! LOL Practice, patience (with yourself) and simple little starter projects are the best way to go. I made granny squares for ages before I tried anything else! Then I was terrified to move away from simple back and forth squares. Then one day, I looked at myself and said, "chuck the rules! What works for ME?" And poof. Literally! You have your own unique stitch tension, you're old unique way of feeding yarn and you will hold your work like no one else...because YOU are like no one else! PLAY with your hooks and yarn, don't work at it, and before you know it, it will just be flowing through your fingers! :)

    • @JaydaInStitches
      @JaydaInStitches  Місяць тому

      Hi Susan! You can use sc in the centre and if you wanted, you could use sc in the petals, it will just make them skinnier 😊

      Hello from Canada! We have a couple of really easy blanket tutorials you might want to try that aren't built in smaller pieces, but all together :) We have the Stash-Buster Blanket (which eats up all that extra yarn you have lying around): ua-cam.com/video/y2Gln0u9H08/v-deo.html We have the Fan Stitch blanket (which you can make any size, using the formula): ua-cam.com/video/ctfSucGmwCo/v-deo.html and you also might like the Classic Chevron blanket (also easily made to any size using the formual): ua-cam.com/video/y6gsjckd_5I/v-deo.html Have fun and thank you for watching!
