Bishop "SMP Pen" review (for scalp micropigmentation)

What's up guys! In this video I give my first impressions on the new Bishop "SMP Pen." Thanks to David Hoffer and Franco Vescovi for sending me this awesome machine and allowing me to use it on my clients, most importantly for allowing me to present this review. I hope this video provides you guys some value and make it easier to narrow down your SMP machine purchase.
I had fun using this machine because of how compact and light it was. It did take some getting used to because of my large hands and it being wired. Overall I think it is a fantastic machine and a piece of gear you would not regret purchasing.

I think with the Critical Battery they have both your weight and cable issues are solved.

Which SMP machine would you recommend overall for someone who is learning SMP?

That’s an issue with the FYT SMP Needles. I had the same issue with the Neuma 4 Modus. Almost, couldn’t get the cartridge out. I wrote them about it and they explained that it was an issue with those needles. That they corrected it with the FYT Apex Needles (also for SMP). I purchased the FYT Apex and they fit better. Still, I don’t twist it, as it fits pretty tight and am afraid they’ll get stuck, like the FYT SMPs.

I believe they make a battery pack that turns it into a wireless machine. If you fit the criteria I mentioned in the video, then yes this is a great machine. 🤙🏼

You can, I wouldn’t recommend it but if you have that god given talent go for it lol
