I do agree, my Nittany Lions 🦁 in big games, would be much better off, if Franklin would put his ego to the side and trust our coordinators literally!!!!
I agree, I think my Nittany Lions 🦁 are still super talented and deep and dangerous team, we shall see 👀 if we can get better every week and make the playoffs and home game in Happy Valley in December!!! WE ARE
First of all, they did look much better receivers as a whole!!! Also, if you know anything about college football, Andy is setting teams up for options in the playbook down the road!!! Example, all of Nittany nation is pissed that A. Evans is so damn fast and we used him earlier in the season on explosive plays??? He hasn't lost his speed obviously, so Andy knows we are a dangerous team and going to win out, and he is keeping that in his pocket, and believe me, A. Evans is going to catch a long td pass in a crucial game upcoming eventually!!!! WE ARE
@@kevinchandler179 oh wow, omari evans catching a long crucial pass, where could we have used that? Oh yeah, the ohio state game. You need to stop being a homer, andy isnt doing some crazy schemes with our wide receivers, our wide receivers are just terrible. Go take a look at the WR stats against ohio state and get back to me
Yeah, that was crazy to me. HOWEVER (big however here), no offensive line has looked uber dominant like let's say Oregon's or Washington's did last season, or Michigan's or Georgia's did in 2022.
It's sort of crazy yet not crazy. It has had 2 bad game, but it's trending upward and this is a down year for offenses in general and for o lines. It's probably not in the top 10, but it might be by the end of the season.
For the "guards being a weak link" for Oregon ... compared to who? They gave up zero sacks to Ohio State and zero sacks to Michigan who are suppose to have some of the best D lines in the nation ... and the Oline was just named a Joe Moore finalist. Also, undefeated is a pretty high floor to start from.
It's a weak link relative to all of the other elite players at different positions on the Ducks' roster. Oregon still has one of the strongest guard groups in the country.
@@collegefootballwithsam I think their play against the best in the country arguably on d-line should end this talking point that started after the first 2 games of the year dealing with loses on the oline.
BYU should def be ranked in the top ten. I have them at 8. South Carolina should not be in the top 15 in my opinion. I have Alabama at 10. The rest is pretty good. Just my opinion
I think power ratings wise they have a ton of ground to make up, but they are a fantastic college football story and can give every team issues with how scrappy they are.
Your cope about this year “not being as dominant as 2023” is wild. Ohio State is way better than they were last year and they barely lost to TCUN. I think you’re holding on to some weird magical ideal of last year. First of all, last year was actually a down year. Second, that team cheated the first half of the year and all of their accomplishments are going away. Your content is improving, but you have to stop the cope.
I mean I'm not a michigan fan but their o line last year was truly elite. That o line was signif better than this year's OSU o line. both seasons look down to me, compared to say, 2019.
@@josealvarez6187 I dont think it's a stretch so we can just disagree. If OSU's line trend's up, esp the run blocking then soon it could close, but that UM line was truly dominant. it outclassed Wash o line in the title game.

Big Ten is new king of college football!
Our receivers finally stepped up Saturday Sam!!! And, that's against the best secondary statistically in the nation in Washington!!! WE ARE
No they didnt. Our receiver, singular stepped up. And he’s been a known commodity. Our WR 2 and 3 are complete garbage

Didn't Washington lose it's best corner 8th play into game though? Just saying.
What's crazy is Ohio state's O-line is a Joe Moore award finalist per ESPN and I honestly laughed out loud

it would fun to see weekly playoff projections as the season goes on
You read my mind, that is coming out tomorrow.
If I could subscribe twice I would. I always love listening to your videos
Thanks!
My top 5 1. Oregon 2. Ohio state 3. Texas 4. Alabama 5. Penn state
I like your content better than most other cfb shows
Thank you! That means a lot to me.
I’m curious as to why you call this a down year in football? I don’t think more parity necessarily equates to a down year.
down year . as in the Top teams are not much better than the solid teams. so anyone of the top 10 teams can win it all
FEBU!!!!!!

This should be interesting after the shake ups.
My preseason National Title pick may not even reach the CFP, lol.
@collegefootballwithsam It's been interesting. Can't wait for the playoffs. 👍
Feel like you a bit harsh on byu considering 2 top 25 wins but overall good list
I think power ratings wise they have a ton of ground to make up, but they are a fantastic college football story and can give every team issues with how scrappy they are.
BYU shouldn’t even be discussed as a playoff team:(
You were asking ab USCars third loss. Lost bad to Ole miss iinm
If we have to go back to Oregon I say next time we kick duck ass
I don’t speak for myself when I say that South Carolina didn’t lose the lsu game. It was thrown away by refs and everyone knew it.
even with that, they have 2 other losses. That said, since this is a power rating, I can stomach USCar being in the top 15.

@ significantly better is a stretch. OSU has a top ten, Joe Moore Award finalist offensive line.
