Greetings again from UK, it’s been a great season, and C3 is now a staple cast, getting me thru the week. Question - if CFB canned the conferences and went to a Premier League / Championship / D1/2 set up, which 20 teams would be in the top flight?
Never happening. Sec bias won’t allow that to happen, unless the big ten dominate and win every natty for the next decade. Then there might be interest in combining for a “premiere league”, and it’d be at least 34 teams, if not close to 40-50 teams. The USA is way bigger than all of GB, and most of Europe, so saying “20 teams” for a p league isn’t even close to enough with the dozens of potentially top tier teams across the entire country
@@artoftruthpodcast8678it’s called the super league and it’s going to end up happening. There’s an emergency meeting scheduled for December between the chancellors and presidents of Big 12 and ACC schools and the B1G and SEC reps to discuss having the power 4 dissolve and combine to form a super league. There’s rumors many Big 12 school reps are planning on resisting it and not showing up and may even break away and join the G5 if the super league concept ends up becoming a reality, which it will.
I beg forgiveness but I watched another college football podcast that aired before my all time favorite (Cover 3) and there they talked about an SEC championship scenario where there were several teams (6+) tied at 6-2. The guest (an LSU fan) said that the head to head was negated because several of the teams played each other and no one team beat all the rest of them. Can this be true? And then it goes to the next criteria of choosing. Color me confused
Kinda odd to say where’s Dillon Gabriel’s heisman moment besides the Ohio State game…. That’s it, that’s his heisman moment. He dosent need 20 of them.
If Indiana beats OSU, they clinch a title game berth. Even if they lose to Purdue, they would have the tiebreaker against PSU due to the OSU win and PSUs loss.
Wisconsin is the last test for the Ducks. It’s a tricky atmosphere but at the same time im sure they know that if they win they clinch a big10 championship spot. UW will not be a test that is strictly gonna be their best performance and they’ll prob run up the score bc that one will be so personal. Dan is 0-3 v UW so you’ll see them out for blood. Autzen will be out for blood if you think Ohio st was loud that game gonna be twice as hostile
Another game which you'd have to win against Oregon or Ohio State would do a lot more for the sake of winning in the playoffs, than a week off. A week off gets you in, playing in the B1G championship ship prepares the team to win. I feel the same about OSU. I'd rather them play in the B1GCG win or lose than get the week off
@yohanathandowns9057 Agreed, my Nittany Lions 🦁 are going 11-1 and win out and playoffs home game in Happy Valley, which I feel absolutely confident about, but afterwards, we will find out how good we actually are!!! Lol 👍
If Ohio state plays Oregon and win that would mean Oregon,IU.PSU all have 1 loss all to the same team the number 1 team Ohio state all 4 would make the playoffs over any 2 loss non conference champion
I have proof that Strength of Schedule doesn't matter. I have proof that Common opponents doesn't matter. I have proof that if your logo isn't correct you WILL be hurt by CFP in terms of ranking. I believe the rankings are done based on TV revenue. The voters are pathetic. Look at Boise State vs Miami and Notre dame and tell me Boise Shouldn't be ahead of those two teams while presenting cross referenced facts. No blanket statements but pure fact. You will not be able to.
Classic Tom just looking at stats and not actually watching games
Thought I was the only one who noticed it.
Once you notice it, you can tell right away

Big 10 Tom 🐐
Nebraska/USC is so full of story lines they glossed right over the Ceyair Wright revenge game angle. 🤯
Oregon beats Ohio state in the rematch. So many weapons and has improved to make opponents freak out all the more!
Pulling for IU although it seems like a pile dream.

Oregon v IU in Indy

Gabriel doesn't have that good of an arm? Dude, what do you need? He drops dimes at 50 yards.
I think as a die hard Nittany Lions 🦁 fan, I actually want the extra week off, literally!!! WE ARE
Bad
Forever going to be third or fourth in the Big Ten

Chip o litics
Daily reminder that Tom doesn’t watch the games
Also, if we can get there we need to win, to get a bye!!! WE ARE
A fan of neither, but USC 38 Nebraska 35 F.
Lincoln needs to stop wearing a visor and wear a baseball cap and maybe he would win 😂
Can we talk about Texas tech epic meltdown.
Eye Violate lol

Boise State shouldn’t be ahead of those two.
WHEN IU beat OSU, will they be out of the playoffs?
Yeah because that’s going to happen 🤡
Just a feeling, cause it would be funny, I’m not sure a win over Michigan is guaranteed
No
And fox ruined it
