For the longest time, the crab king fight was considered a total pile of steaming garbage that everyone else basically just did what I did and battering rammed the boss with bee mines.

However since now the boss has been reworked, bees arent really needed for crab king nor are they affective. So is there any reason to still use bees in a combat sense? Well I am going to answer your question with a question. Does that combat use AOE? If you answered no to that, then the answer is absolutely because using entire stacks of static bees are an impeccable way of not only holding down but damaging creatures who lack the ability to kill the lot of them quickly enough. Though you probably dont want to use them on beequeen for… obvious reasons
The most famous example of this is using bee stacks to kill enraged Klaus by taking advantage of his lack of aoe, which was originally discovered by joeshmocoolstuff in his enraged Klaus speedrun.
