Super powerful and long lasting, All this work you see here and some off camera all on one charge!! Of course this was convent considering electric was over 2000' away. I use red & white oak from Benson's saw mill!!

And, in an alternative universe, some guy named Jimmy DeWalt is using DiResta tools.
In another alternate universe, there's a Jimmy DiResta who thinks axes and knives are a waste of time and makes all of his videos in slow motion.
LedSatriani and one where he cuts a hole in everything then fucks it
chebob 123 - I think that post tells us more about you than about alternative universes.

Before people start throwing the word "sell out" around; keep in mind this is a video about building a bridge and getting over it.
exactly get over it haters!
It was actually impressive to see those (batter powered) tools make it through the day.
Huh, what do you know, pre-retaliatory fan-boy promulgation. And all I was just going to say I preferred it when all of his tools were painted white.
Grevlain, especially since it was only off of one charge. This is the kind of product placement I can get behind. No words. No hype. Just show what it can do.
Keith Ward, I know a lot of things. Like how to be civil. :)
Tophie
Just making an observation ...
oh sure its easy when u get free tools... and spend the last 20 odd years building stuff, set up your own business, put off having kids, and working 80 hour weeks. EASY! - big fan love the channel and the podcast too!
Jimmy, you are the best part of youtube. Bar none. Love your work. Keep doing what you do.
Cheers!
You put so much effort in each one of you're videos and not a single ad on one of them. I have nothing but respect for you man.
I love watching you and Willie work together. That passes at 06:48 how jimmy is drilling the holes, then willie comes and places the bolt etc. looks so natural and intuitive. Hope that's how it feels! :)
man, your channel owes me a lot of lifetime. cant stop watching your vids.
jimmy., i've watched many of your videos. this one, for some reason, especially moved me. the closing shot of your dog going over the bridge brought me to tears. so beautiful.
I like that you took a project that worked particularly well for the Dewalt battery powered tools and just did it. It really didn't feel like you were selling out or trying to cram Dewalt in our faces. Honestly don't mind marketing like this at all. Thanks for the video Jimmy.
It is with great honor " I now declare the DiResta bridge open.............. Now lets get the toll booth started...........Well done brother.
Got to be one of my top five favorite builds Jimmy. Simple yet brilliant, rustic yet elegantly crafted.
I never thought i'd see the day where you can pretty much use battery powered tools anywhere and everywhere. It's awesome. Thay sure have come a long way!
wow the shots in this are amazing! especially the aerial shots in the ends. Gorgeous!
This would have taken Wranglerstar AT LEAST 3 episodes and a whole bunch of good ole Christian information.
S.P. Smith Audio but I would've still watched every episode and thought to myself "I love his accent"
May be more than 3 episode, l unsubscribed Wranglerstar, his videos too long, with show up attitude.
U r right, Wranglerstar videos too long & so boring
Different style.
I'm not so bothered by the christian information as I am by the clickbait and the "if you arent doing it by hand in this exact way, you're less of a man and somehow desecrating the last link we have to the past" additude.
Two men building a skip-board over a wee brook with the the bend in their back, the stoop in their legs and the sweat on their brow by the end of the day a bridge lay there. Testament to their toil.
Enjoying the bits of aerial footage you have been sprinkling in your videos.
Having the DeWalt 18volt set from the late nineties early 2000's, I think I may just have to seriously look at this FLEXVOLT line. All that work done with one charge is mind blowing. Great bridge, it should last you a few years.
hahaha! 12:18 AM and im totally staying up to watch this! LOVE YOU JIMMY.
wranglerstar would have taken 6 months and a 30 part series to do that
And then would have made a separate video complaining about negative comments.
Martin Marley with some bible verses thrown in
Callum B if Diresta wouldnt use timelapse, his Videos Must be splittet in a lot of Parts...
Callum B o
Because he has to beat his kid between takes.. That's a lot of work.
When that music started up, I really expected Larry Potterfield from Midway USA to make an appearance. Nice work on the bridge -- built to last!
Day off from work, just made coffee and checking the notifications and jimmy has uploaded a new vid! .. Good start😆😎
Good to see Dewalt came to their senses. Cool bridge cool tools.
The real Diresta experience involves watching all his videos at 2x speed.
Effectively giving you around 4-6x normal speed.
Perfect.
He used to have all of his drills painted white. That's good I love watching his videos and I'm glad he's doing good. He inspires me
I'm really glad this important video was included at the end of an Aphex Twin playlist
Pure magic,an excellent job. Built like an Audi ,unassuming yet fit and finish second to none. Respect.
The drone shots were really nice and cinematic. They added a great perspective to the video.
Great job jimmy. Always brings a smile to my face to see one of your videos. Thanks for sharing your life with us and inspiring millions of projects!!!!
Fabulous team effort, such a blessing to have such a good helper & the yellow servants in your hands were extraordinary: Cordless but powerful & long lasting, amazing how such tools have evolved so quickly from being weak & soon emptied to what they are now.
Great little bridge, even greater video for DeWalt. When that bolt broke I was like... "whaaa.....? Holy crap!"
nice job as always
That bridge will be around long after we all pass on. A legacy.
I love the clip of Lucky running over the bridge :) Great build video as always!
Another great one Jimmy. Glad DeWalt sorted you out with most of their new line! Say hi to Willie from me!
It's amazing how far battery powered tools have come.
Damnit! The product placement worked.
The Man - The Myth - The Legend -
The Jimmy DiResta!
Great build, I really like that it’s so focused on functionality - no fancy stuff, just the bare minimum of what’s needed to make a bridge (and I mean that as a compliment, of course). The drone footage is awesome, too! Thanks for sharing!
Hey Jimmy I'm a huge fan you are a huge inspiration in a 15 year old kid and I build things thank you for making videos and keeping me inspired to build
the drone really adds to the videos when used the way you use it, absolutely brill!
You make a "tiny bridge" look bad ass! Nice job Jimmy! It's also actually nice to see what abuse those Dewalt tools can take. Thanks for the video and inspiration!
the the sexy sharp axes use in this video, provided by

Dang Jimmy, DeWalt hooked you up. I've never even seen some of those tools before. I got the 20v stuff, but that new FlexVolt line looks pretty awesome...... not that I would actually need stuff like that around the house.
thanks Jimmy big kiss from france
Thanks Jimmy for the fantastic video! Congrats for your work with the bridge. If you want give us a feedback on our axes. Greetings from Italy. Prandi Axes
jimmydiresta Отличная работа! Великолепное! Спасибо за стимул трудиться , творить , создавать , и , созерцать то что нас окружает .

Dear Bridge, you've been slayed.
Well done! Glad to see Dewalt gave you the hook up. Those flexvolt tools look legit.
Jimmy, the drone footage is really killer. It adds a lot to the video! Much love Brother.
That was a very enjoyable to watch video! The footage of your stunning property was awesome!
As many times as I’ve seen him stencil his name on a project I still get a charge off that. Jimmy I still enjoy your videos as much as ever, but this one was just super cool to me. 👍
So much BADASSNESS in this video, killer footage, Beautiful property views. Probably your best video yet!!
Great to see DeWalt sponsering you again!
Awesome build Jimmy, it's amazing how far cordless power tools have come. Magic!
I really enjoyed the camera work in this video. In particular, I loved the part where you used the drone to film as you trimmed down the one side of the bridge. Keep up the great camera work!
the Dewalt is real with this one.
What a beautiful landscape. I also like the music at beginning and end of the video.
Nice work man. I loved every bit of that. Really smart of DEWALT to sponsor you. You showed a perfect example of why the Flexvolt tools would be so awesome to have. This is the future of marketing. I'm far more likely to buy their tools after seeing you actually build something with them then some actor on a tv commercial. Looking forward to more of these. P.S. If you're looking to unload any white tools I'll be in Boston and I'm driving;)
Glad your back on board with dewalt after the last time. Keep up the work.
honestly those flex volt tools are Badass.
Killer drone adaptation. I look forward to seeing that used in other videos. You're still making great stuff even if it is on boring projects like this!
I've never commented on a video but "making it" is about actually making... So forget the trolls and keep doing what you do.... Thank you from Portugal!
Looks great. Im sure having a bridge will make your life easier
Awesome bridge love your new throne camera shows how awesome and naturally beautiful New York is. If your dog loves the bridge so do I.
that was som DeWalt power right there .. good build Jimmy
Love the music/soundtrack! Fits the feel of the video perfectly.
Great job, Jimmy! Love that bridge and the drone shots were epic! And props on the sponsorship! If it's good for them and good for you screw everyone else.
Awesome Jimmy. Great to see two craftsman do their thing
Awesome project, autumn nature looks really nice in your shots!
Wow! Those tools never quit. Nice job!
Wherever upstate NY you live, it sure is beautiful in the fall/winter!
Willy: Hey, uh, Big D...you know we brought the recipro-
Jimmy (between ragged breaths, waving the handsaw): I'm gonna...finish...it...with THIS!
Damn Jimmy you ever sleep.... You and Willie ( I think thats his name) got er done. Way to go! Just Awesome.
digging the rugged feel of this one. This is my kind of build .
Your videoes are pure therapy to watch, good craftsmanship is a delight to watch. keep making great content for the world to enjoy :)
very nice bridge. i'm going to have to take a look at the new dewalt tools. finally something i don't already have!
Nice use of the drone footage you shot and good job building the bridge.
Impressive power tools. I am still in awe that my father built a 2 bedroom cottage all by himself with nothing but manual hand tools. No electricity available.
those drone shots were awesome
this video is great, pleasant to watch, great work jimmy, the fandom just grow up
Its superfun watching it. Thank you, DiResta.
Superb work!
Impressive. Cordless tools have come a long ways.
Nice drone shots and nice bridge!
The most bankable name in the business!
dewalt sent you every flexvolt tool... wow. dewalt sponsor me please
What a nice property. I love the drone footage.
Lots of yellow. Good to see your friends again.
Bridge over river Diresta! Awesome work man!
when i had to choose the only beautiful bridge on the planet, i think ur pretty close, love the simplistic style of it and it really blent in well with the trees :O
I love this one. so symbolic! a real utility build too. I'm psyched to see what's on the other side.
Great video, from the stand point of advertising you should have had a shot of you changing batteries from one tool to to another, that's one of the major selling points of this range. Still really cool
I'm loving the aerial shots!
Man that was a cool cordless power drill. Never seen one like that before. Awesome Vision.
Another great video, your approach to projects is second to none!
Keep up the awesome job. Love the final bridge inspection by the dog!!!
those cordless tools look pretty legit. thanks for the vid jimmy!
Dang, the new 60/120V tools are no joke!!
Love the overheads Jimmy. Thanks.
holy moly those drone shots are beautiful!
Impressive torque on that hammer drill. Cool bridge, too.
looks like DeWalt finally got behind you. about time !
I really enjoyed this build
"Tiny bridge"-->builds bridge you could drive a car accross. Who else, but DiResta?
***** Why would that be so obvious?
*****
That's how he spells his name, so I'm going to respect that.
I didn't say you could tear through it, but I think those rocks would hold up, if you drove over the bridge slowly. If the ground under the rocks doesn't sink under the weight, there shouldn't be much of a problem as long as you avoid excessive sideways forces. Although the abutments are crude compared to the rest fo the bridge.
Nice drone action! Great job with the bridge! You have inspired me to make one myself! All I need now is a couple hundred more tools and a mind like DiResta!
Loved those aerial shots at the end!
Jimmy, please let us know how you like the new 120V cordless stuff. I'm nervous to buy any of it and wind up hating it for performance and battery life. BTW, I'm glad you are making a living doing what you love being sponsored, in part, by big names. I don't love constant advertising everywhere you go, but your videos at least aren't ten minute long infomercials and I appreciate that. Keep up the good work so I can keep referring people to your videos all the time.
WhatIsKenDoing Thanknyou ! The bats lasted whole build. Still on one charge. Since unboxing.
Now who here likes a good story about a bridge?
