    What does table 12-1 mean?

      Apparently it's the table for activity coefficients for aqueous solutions at 25ºC. I have no idea how we're supposed to guess that, but that's it

    for that table 12-1 nonsense that isnt helpful, instead you can do it by hand by doing p(gamma) = AZi(sqrt(I)/(1+sqrt(I))-(.3I)) and then take the value of pgamma and raise it 10^-pgamma and get gamma, which i got .6617 while he said 0.660, but close enough (A = .51 at 25 Celsius)
