      Sheaffer Viewpoint Calligraphy Fountain Pen seems to work well. I have also been using glass dip pens.

    How do you know how many sulfate in every Sodium sulfate

    • @Chemistryuniversity
      @Chemistryuniversity  2 роки тому

      Based on the charges. Sodium has a +1 charge and Sulfate has a -2 charge. There will be 2 sodium for every sulfate.

    If Ionic Strength is 1.1M how much would the activity (active mass) be?
    I've been taught that when Ionic Strength tends to 1 then Activity tends to 0. Am I wrong on this?

      When ionic strength goes to 0 then the activity coefficient goes to 1. Increasing the ionic strength will lower the activity coefficient.
      The activity coefficient affected differently for each ion. Higher charges, and smaller hydrated radius ions deviate more from 1.

    When I input 0.5 ( ( 0.1 x 1^2 ) + ( 0.1 x -1^2 ) ) it says the answer is 0.

      A negative number squared becomes a positive number, so -1^2 = 1. So you basically have 0.5 ( (0.1 x 1^2) + (0.1 x 1^2) because the -1 becomes positive 1 when you square it. I know this is a late response but I hope this is helpful for someone in the future!

    Explain. Out uni univalent electrolytes like nacl and kcl

      If the ions are +\-1 then the ionic strength is the same as the concentration of the salt. The identity of the ion is not considered here, just the charge.
