You can adopt me as a driver and accept the type of future i see myself having (as a charity)... it could be a charity due to my past driving record. Not horrible if interviewed about it but not great at first glance or hindsight. Don't drink alcohol at all...hate it...just nicotine and caffeine. 🎉 I'm 5 foot 9 and can dunk!! ...A donut...

Please bring back the old aaa cooper 401k plan. The new plan is a horrible paycut.

I have a buddy at AAA Cooper that has the same criticism of the 401K plan. He's a great guy!

The interview is the payment. That being said, knight is a good company and mother trucker is all right.

With market rates continuing to drop and with International freight continuing to decline, what will you guys look to do to boost your profitability. I am a SAM ID approved D.O.D. Logistics company that is based in PHX that is getting into ground for D.O.D./USTRANSCOM, in April 2023, the D.O.D./USTRANSCOM will require all TPS/AAE/Classified load carriers to be SAM/D.O.D. approved, are you guys looking to break in? We found the financing for fleet purchases is starting to tighten up, we are approved for our initial fleet but we are looking for a long term partnership that will allows us to grow our fleet which will allow the partnership with a company looking to secure a large section of the D.O.D. Freight market, it is very difficult to get thru the D.O.D. approval process, especially for new companies and we are approved and our President of our company is a retired Brigadier General (U.S. Army) and allows us better access to the DLA/TRANSCOM.

    Mutha trucker didn't grill nobody
All he said was " that's wzup "
He never been a company driver
Knight/ swift just gave him the run around excuse of the business
Waste of time, Alex didn't grill anyone. " that's wzup"

I'm out of Portland, told we have NO dedicated freight other than flatbed. Swift has way more dedicated freight and lanes, not sure why knight can't keep up

I watched both Mutha Trucka and this one. As a new Driver with Knight, NONE of what was discussed here is what I see. I am just a number, when i call anywhere, "Whats your Truck number"...."We cant help you with that." No one listens to what I am saying, Im not able to get miles and therefore provide for my family.... From my POV, the money is held at the top. I was promised the stars, and now that i went solo, i have seen NOTHING. Oooh yay, we have nice facilities, but my family on the verge of homelessness. Glad this is working for some, i guess. I have not seen it.

Yeah that sucks, I do western regional and don't have that issue. I go out 12 days home 3. I do about 4500 to 5k a month take home. Approx. 10k miles a month. Maybe try and change your dispatcher? Are you going home a lot? usually they cant send you that far if you are coming back weekly. My 1st day or 2 back on the road are a little slow but it ramps way up after that. Get good miles over the weekend that I am out too. Im basically home every other weekend Sat sun mon and go back out Tuesdays.
I was nervous, I left a 27 an hr job to drive. Only when I was with a trainer did I bring home less than what i made at my last job and it was like less than 500 bucks for the month, but that was only the month with the trainer.
Ive heard that sometimes the dispatchers suck or are new so can ask to change. Also some look at your miles you normally do and your home time pattern to see what you can handle. I called mine after my second week on the road and told him I could handle more now i look at 5 to 6k miles every 12 days i am out.

It's easier and faster for them to look us up by our truck number, instead of trying to spell out a name. You also have to make yourself known at the terminal. Everyone in my work circle knows me by name.
Also, you can't expect to be home every weekend and make money. I stay on the road 6 to 8 weeks at a time. You can't drive 300 to 400 miles a day and make money. I try and drive 550 to 650 miles a day.
You gotta be out here a few years before you see the money. You gotta cook on your truck. The average driver spends $25-$30 a day on food. That is close to $900 a month. Be wise. Conserve your money. I treat myself to a steak once a month. My crockpot and air fryer do the rest.
Talk with your DM. Tell him or her what you need and expect.
Get known. It's not their job to know your name, it's your job to make them remember it.

As a Knight Driver all I am hearing is the Praising of Swift. HELLO we Knight drivers would like some recognition sometimes. Corporate seems to have forgotten us Knight Drivers. Knight turned our trucks down to 63 on the pedal yet swiftless company drivers are constantly passing us? Really? As a million + mile driver, safe driver I think I have earned it to have my truck turned up to 67 not punished to 63. Yet this will get no reply from Corporate because I have repeatedly said these things over and over for years.

See I watched the same video as you and I took it as Swift was crap before Knight came in. The governing is going to eventually happen to all trucks. Its for insurance, fuel, and safety reasons.

@user-se7hm2ex9j So why is swiftless no turned down to 63 like knight is?

Cause they are ran as 2 different companies and kept their ways
