- Welcome back to Critterland! Today I have something DIFFERENT for our Sylvanian Families / Calico Critters... the Rolife Super Creator Breezy Time Cafe coffee shop kit! Boy that's a mouthful!
I almost bought this many times, and finally pulled the trigger after seeing a Sylvanian figure pictured in one of the reviews. I wasn't sure if the quality would be any good, how challenging it would be to build, and most importantly, if it would be the right scale for Sylvanians.
But I'm so glad I did! The look is definitely unique compared to Calico Critter shops and accessories, but I love it! It's so realistic and cute, albeit slightly small. Actually most items are sized perfectly, but the countertop is a hair too high and the chairs are a hair too small. Other than that, I think it works!
There are 6 shops to choose from in this line, and they can be purchased online at Rolife's website for the same or lower cost than Amazon (plus, they offer free shipping worldwide if you spend a minimum amount).
I'm very eager to hear your thoughts... have you built any Super Creator sets? What other figures are compatible with these shops? If you haven't, would you consider them for your critters? What do you think of the quality, detail, assembly, and scale? Do you think it works in Critterland??

I bought this set a few days ago, and replaced the table & chairs with the Sylvanian Garden table & chairs set (the one that looks like wrought iron). It looks great. I am actually thinking of buying a 2nd cafe, and joining them together to make it larger.
Inspired me to try this as well. I got the Bubble tea shop. It's really cute. Thanks for the heads up!
I really like it! They definitely need a coffee shop, and you could always swap out the table and chairs for Sylvanian ones to solve that one issue with the scale. It works brilliantly.
You’re right! That’s a simple fix lol, and the chairs that came with the coffee shop would be great as child chairs, may be in a kids bedroom. Thank you!
I recently discovered that while they don't have a coffee shop, they do have a coffee set to add to the buffet. It has a grinder and everything needed for an old fashioned coffee area.
I love the detail of the accessories, so realistic! The chairs and table are small for the Sylvanian but the accessories work perfectly. I don't know the meaning of that sentence either🤔.
I actually got a DIY bedroom set, I forgot the brand, because I wanted a unique bedroom for my Sylvanian Families.

I love the Rolife miniatures. I have 3 kits so far, and I'll probably start buying the shops. They are perfect for the Sylvanian families!
I love these little sets. I have this one and the fruit store stacked vertically where I display a few figurines in them. I never thought to use them for Sylvanians, but I think it works as a more modern looking spot for coffee. It looks great on top of the carport.

I think this kit works great for critters! I’ve been thinking of making a coffee shop and having the latte cats run it. Great job!
Nice quality! I would like you to do a little more comparisons of these, such as counter height, dishes etc
Sure! In fact I’ve recently “built” the grocery market and bubble tea shop. I’ll post a short with comparisons soon, and a more extensive look in a future video. The counter is slightly higher than a calico critter counter, maybe by a quarter inch. It’s just high enough to look out of scale, which is annoying. And the chairs are the right height but too narrow, they look like baby chairs for critters. The dishes / food / etc are about the exact same scale as critters.
Oh I absolutely love it! It is so detailed and well made and I think it is perfect and is a good example of what you can add and even make if you're unable to get certain Sylvanian pieces, and to make your set unique.
so interesting to see how this works with Sylvanians! mine currently have to make do with the Blackcurrant café’s offerings (though not sure where the Latte cats got their takeaway cups 🤔). I’ve seen these type of kits online so thank you for showing it all in detail, i may have to buy one too!!
and i would probably choose to cover up the “in love folly” message - no idea what it means either 😂

I have the Super Creator Bakery, and I have incorporated it in with my Critters bakery, and it looks great.

It doesn’t seem any cheaper than the newer sets. (Kind of hard to tell on camera.) But I’m sure you would have said if it was sub par. 😉
It definitely feels on par with Sylvanians, actually better than some of the recent sets as far as detail goes. The quality of the plastic is a rung lower, but still very good!
Thanks! Didn't know about the roof. :) yeah, I wanna use it with calico/woodzeez/honeybee acres, see if playmobil works, lil bratz, and I wonder if the barbie kids could fit. :) this was a very helpful video.
The 3” tall Polly Pocket dolls are perfect scale for these sets. Critters work for most elements because they are short, but because of their chubbiness, they aren’t as great with the chairs.
Had a feeling they'd have issues with their wide-ness. XD Thanks for mentioning. I don't have the polly pockets right now, but what about lil' bratz? XD wonder if they'll fit ok.
