My TOP 5 MOST WANTED 🖐🤩 Calico Critters sets & families! Some super collectible Sylvanian Families!

- Welcome back! It's been kind of a hectic time recently, I've had to travel a bit for work and I'm actually leaving tonight for another short trip, and I've missed Critterland a lot! Things will slow down soon!
My more recent videos have been pretty "unboxing" happy, and I don't have another Critterland update, so I thought I'd do something different and share some of the Sylvanian Families / Calico Critters that are on my wish list! These are my TOP FIVE most wanted sets and families (10 total).
There are so, so, so many more items on my wishlist, but the video would be many hours long if I included them all. It was SO HARD to narrow it down to 5. Families like the Meerkats, Hamsters, and Raccoons could EASILY be on the families list. Sets like the farm stand, telephone booth, sewing machine, and so many more, are right up there with the top five; BUT, if I could ONLY have 5 magically appear, it would be the ones here in this video.

UPDATE... edited (Nov 2023)... Since this posted, I now have ALL THE FAMILIES, the MOTORCYCLE, the BEEKEEPER, and CAPTAIN SEADOG!! Woop woop!! So Mr. Webster, the captain’s crew, and flower cart are all that remain on the list. I need to do an updated Top 5!
That motorcycle and sidecar set is my no.1 most wanted right now. I already got the item I had most wanted which was the Rose of Sylvania canal boat. That was the jewel of my childhood collection and as soon as I decided to start collecting them again now I knew that I had to have it back in my life, and I was lucky enough to find one complete in the box for a price I was willing to pay. I’d really love to have the horse drawn caravan that kind of matches with the canal boat so that’s another one at the top of my list. Those lavender rabbits are definitely also on my list and I think I’ll probably end up getting them one day despite how expensive they are... I just can’t help myself 😬 Oh and I’d also love to have the urban house, I think that’s my favourite of the larger buildings. It just looks really classy for a plastic dollhouse!
I just got the vintage owl family for £35 on eBay, I knew they were rare so I saw them and grabbed them. Total steal, some people really don't know what they're collections are worth.

Hello! I know you don’t want to play collector prices but I do see right now on eBay there are listed brand new lavender rabbit families for around $80! I know it is super expensive but I did find some just in case you wanted to take a look! Have a great rest of your day/night! Bye!
Actually $80 isn't that bad!! What's crazy is $350 for the owls - my gosh I would never pay that LOL - but $80 for the lavender rabbits is reasonable! Thank you!

The Beavers were the first Sylvanian Family I ever had as a kid. Thank you for posting the recommendation to the EBay vendor from Japan, as I was able to “reclaim” my youth and purchase the new (unnamed?) Beaver Family!
That’s awesome! I am so glad you got them! I can relate, for me it is all about the nostalgia… it has ballooned a bit out of control LOL… but it all goes back to that sheer joy I had playing with them as a kid! ❤️
I have to agree, the Captain Sea Dog and Crew is on my list but I really would love the original Family Deluxe Cottage from 1985, it's more of a nostalgic feeling when I used to watch the commercials as youngster and dream of having it ❤️
Oh definitely that original cottage is a must on my list, I played with that as a kid and would love to have it again. Several times I almost bought one, but I just haven’t found one in the right condition at the right price. I am sure it is just a matter of time, although those are super vintage they aren’t difficult to come by thankfully! ❤️

In the 90’s, as a child, I had the frog family who were adorable! There are so many cute families now: kangaroos, koalas, red pandas, pandas, otters, chihuahuas, shiba dogs, giraffe…
Omg me too the owls are a dream!!! I love so dearly I can’t even describe truly want them 💕 i am willing to pay collector prices unless they are over 1000 because that is way to much I think that’s what I save my money for these little guys lol

Yes LOL a week or so after I put this video out, I bought them! I think doing the video prompted me to finally take the plunge. I had never spent that much on a family of calico critters, and swore I never would, until I did, and then I did it again on some others!! 😆 including…… The SIDECAR!! ❤️❤️
The 2005 owls are a little creepy 😂
I am always seeing the motorbike thing on trade me but it’s always around 75 nzd which is way to much for me! Omg I have never seen the florist cart and I am in love! I was once so close to getting the milkman but then someone got to it before me and it was so sad 😭! The beavers are so cute and I totally recomend! Lavender rabbits! They go for like $300 in nz sadly tho!
Thanks for sharing! I found the beavers on KobeeJapan for about $60, that’s more than I have ever paid for a family, but I went ahead and did it! I just couldn’t help it! They should be here soon and I am so excited ❤️😍❤️
The buttercup friesian cows are in the sylvanian shop in London and they will ship overseas, I have the waters beavers :) The owls are on my wish list too. I also have the original tomy horse drawn caravan and the rose of sylvania canal boat. I have so many sets from my childhood and the recent ones.
Oh wow, you have some amazing vintage sets!! I would LOVE to have the horse caravan, and the gypsy caravan, they are so cool, same with the canal boat (that one has recently been released and is easier to find now, but uber-pricey!) I hope they re-release an owl family at some point, I just can't bear to spend hundreds on vintage ones, but I love them so much!!😍
That motorcycle set is so iconic. I also like the Lavender rabbits. There's an older set of polar bears I'd like to have and an old house called Babblebrook Grange.
Yes!! I really want the older polar bears too, The one with the dad that has “Polar Bear” on his shirt, they’re like a cream color. Babblebrook is on my wishlist too!! ❤️👍
I would love the sheep family or any of the farm sets.
Oooh yes the farm sets are incredible! I would love the Highfield farmhouse and barn, they are both so beautiful. The house is amazing with the light up fireplace and the tutor look! I hope you can get the sheep soon, they are one of my favorites (it’s the headdresses that make me melt)! 🐑❤️
I think there are actually 2 types of Lavender rabbits. There was a different version that had slightly different clothes

I have the Bevers they You shoed pic off the first i was not born when it came ut but my Mom was a collekter at my age so she gave them to me and now i’m a collekter
I have the Lavender family. I adore them. Currently customising a house for them. Purple, grey, and green. I had the opportunity to buy the raccoon grandparents and motorcycle / sidecar but I passed on them. After watching this - regret!! I think I'd like a beaver family after watching this. I did not have 10 minutes to spare at work to watch this but I watched it anyway. Oh, almost forgot - I have the Shiba Inu family too!! Great video. 👍🏻

I have the raccoon motorcycle set - I didn't realise so many people wanted them ! They have always been my least favourite figures haha...

The tuxedo cats are really beautiful; I love how each critter in the family has a unique pattern (and the dad is all black); the black and white contrast is gorgeous. Thanks for watching!
