yo, spinning hard drives are an urban legend. nobody IRL would use such a slow piece of crap. the idea of a spinning hard drive was created by marketing execs in order to have something to compare SATA SSD's to, so they would appear to be faster.
As someone who has computed since the early 90's I can confidently say that spinning hard drives never existed, and we always had SSDs. mechanical hard drives only existed in your mind, and not in reality. Even my first PC, which had a ginormous 128 MEGABYTE hard drive, used an m.2 NVME drive, and I will fight anyone to the death who tries to say differently.
Also, we used fiber optic network cables to connect to Bulletin Board Services for all the latest Dr. Who rumors. And the 3.5 inch floppy disk drives were for aesthetic purposes only. they looked cute. 1.44 megs of data? come on, you're falling for it, not me. we used incredibly slow and expensive Zip drives for REAL POWER. goddamn were those things slow.

Well, people will be disappointed. Modern OSs (i.e. from the time of Windows 95) tend to push some processes in background when not interacting with the user. This means they free up memory by offloading to page file (in this case fast SSD) and basically minimize processes like anti-viruses. In practice, CPU would run at 100% all the time, but bloatware would not get more than 50% of that processing power.

I was asked to look at and upgrade my wife's old work PC, she worked for a small business and having me do it for fun and the business paying for parts was something I was looking forward to. Got to the HP AIO that was running an old i3, did a quick sanity check turns out the old dual core was being over taxed by just THREE antivirus softwares. I removed 2 or the AVs blew dust out of the fan and magically everyone stopped complaining about that PC.
Having all that on a 6 core PC probably isn't going to affect it that much, but a dual core with hyper threading would have killed it's self by the time you got to the 2nd antivirus:D

Great video!! Something to point out the intro for your video song is every so slightly pitched just a bit up then the usual lower pitch from your other video. I notice this instantly when I compare it to the last couple of older videos. Maybe it's the way the video was edited, it's a weird thing to point out but that theme as become iconic that if it changes so slightly I can tell. Keep up the great work though!!!

Back in the XP days software kept adding tool bars to browsers because they were included in installations of other software even though they had nothing to do with the software you were installing. People would end up with tool bars covering half the screen. Not sure why that trend ended but I wouldn't be surprised if laws were made to stop it.
