Rose was perfect on iZombie. One of my favorite shows. I watched every episode….multiple times. She was brilliant. Such a wonderful character actor. She played a different character almost every weekend hit it out of the park. New brain, new character. I hope she has a long successful career.
This is the perfect clip to post after the Globes and watching a bunch of stars revell in their glamour. This one's got her head on straight and clearly has a very realistic outlook.
I know absolutely nothing about Rose McIver, so I have no preconceived ideas about her. In this interview, she comes across as having her feet firmly planted on the ground, realistic and sensible...qualities I really admire!
She was awesome in IZombie. I did not realize she was a New Zealander. She had no accent that I picked up watching all the episodes. I never watched The Lovely Bones, but I do remember her in Once Upon a Time. I did not know she was a Power Ranger. She is a lovely talented young Lady indeed!
@@finfog4590 Kinda yes. She comes from an era in Power Rangers and a season where the actors were particularly good. Especially considering the usual reputation of Power Rangers actors.
@@KennethLyVideography It did have a lot of actors that went on to bigger things - so yeah, the talent pool was high. I just didn’t think she was exceptional on that show.
@ I don't think I agree with that. Most Power Rangers actors went nowhere and was not taken seriously. It used to be considered career poision to be one. The handfull of them who did was from the same era as Rose. And RPM had 3 actors (including her) managing to move on to more mainstream projects. And tbh, just being good at acting is enough to stand out in Power Rangers.
Love iZombie! iZombie is a comfort watch for me and Rose is (of course) great in it! Haven't watched Ghosts yet, the British version being another show I love and am hesitant about any remake, even one feature Rose Mciver (I'll check it out eventually).
It took me a year. I am a Brit that now lives in America. I was so hesitant. The thing is, both shows are so different that I get different things from both shows. It’s so hard to compare.
She's being realistic. She was on a show for a year and might think she made it and the next week, they tell you the shows cancelled. It's a harsh business.
Sam Neil came in one night with his party to the Japanese restaurant I managed and I had to tell him the private Teppanyaki he'd booked was unavailable (either through staff error or his wife messing up the reservation it was unclear). A group of student walk-ins were there, who we totally could've rushed-they were spending a tiny fraction of what Sam's party would. I apologised and told him regardless of the error he'd have to be seated in the main restaurant and we'd look after him. He was pissed, but also knew he had no greater rights than those laughing kids having the time of their lives at his Teppanyaki. He graciously let us arrange a setting for his party and that was that. I didn't lose my job, Sam's family continued to patronise the restaurant and life went on. Kiwi's just don't really get star struck. Celebrities are ordinary people, even the Prime Minister will have folks yell out greetings or questions at them at traffic lights.
I disagree. I think that's normal conversation. You share experiences and opinions when you talk about topics. If you think of this more as a conversation and less like an interview, to me, it doesn't seem like he's stepping on any thoughts.
I feel like you’re out of touch with your audience and Americans. No one cares about her mental journey. No one cares about her story. I can understand maybe one video with her in it. This is crazy.
Just because her story doesn’t speak to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t to others. People can be inspired by different people’s experiences and stories. Stop generalizing to all when something isn’t for you.

Love that show

It’s still weird seeing her without being pale and having white hair.
Rose seems to have a very calm and measured approach to life😊
And it doesn’t appear that she is wearing ANY Makeup!!! Beautifully confident in herself, talent and looks!!!

Literally top 3 most successful power rangers of all time 💛
Ghosts! Super underrated show.
She's so charming.
Her accent 🥰
I love iZombie
She's one of the very few ex Power Rangers alumni that's actually had pretty successful career after being in the show.
Much Love Michael ❤️ Be safe xxx
I had no idea she was from New Zealand. This is one time where a show was a hundred times better than the comic.
One of my favorite all time Yellow Power Rangers! (RPM)
She was a yellow power ranger and in johnny kapahala(i cant spell it) back on board.
What a gorgeous woman. 😊
iZombie was fun. I love the show and the comic book.
New Zealand and Australia are the same in that regard, although things have slowly changed.
Funny everyone talks about her as the girl from iZombie, to me she was one of those Power Rangers who could act.
Sure. But are you saying she stood out for her acting on that show?

@ Yes, I’m with you on that. I’ve seen a lot of the rpm cast in things after the show.

Very beautyfull movie❤
The Ghosts show was pretty good too.

Love her in izombie. Love her in ghosts. But it's so weird hearing her real voice and accent.
I think New Zealanders are more chill. There are celebrities but in the context of the community, they are not the same as in America.

i live were the lovely bones happend norristown pa.
No one mentions her as Tinkerbell in 'Once Upon a Time' 😢
Flight of The Concords
She was great in Xena. The episode were Xena and the little girl body swap.
I haven't watched that show Ghosts, but I assume she's good in that.
2 more seasons and she will be financially independent.
Its so about him he has to step on her thoughts?
Yep that's pretty much the show, he could have Harrison Ford on and he'd be like "Han Solo is cool and all but let me tell you about Smallville."
I disagree. I think that's normal conversation. You share experiences and opinions when you talk about topics. If you think of this more as a conversation and less like an interview, to me, it doesn't seem like he's stepping on any thoughts.
Isn’t that the point of this? For them to have a two way conversation?
Uh, no celebrities in New Zealand, hello Xena, Lucy Lawless !!
Its not that we dont have celebrities, its just that we dont really elevate them, that would be weird and awkward. Except perhaps the All blacks.
@@chrishellize Ah, I see, the U.S. would benefit from that.
Probably happier being a normie outside the grind of Hollywood.
The first thing people recognise you from, what about "Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane"!
Whoaaa I didn't even remember that and now, you mentioned it, I totally remember it. I watched those episodes. Can't believe I'm old
The Lovely Bones had good acting, but it was a very hard watch in a way.
hes not a great interviewer lol.
He does kind of dominate it while she's clearly got things to say.
Lying to yourself
Not a huge fan of the host talking more than the guest.
I feel like you’re out of touch with your audience and Americans. No one cares about her mental journey. No one cares about her story. I can understand maybe one video with her in it. This is crazy.
No one cares about your opinion.
Be nice. It’s not hard.
The fuck kinda comment is this lmao, why does everything the host does have to relate to what you deem important.
Just because her story doesn’t speak to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t to others. People can be inspired by different people’s experiences and stories. Stop generalizing to all when something isn’t for you.
What an odd, and frankly nasty comment.
Oh no! An American feels left out! Doesn't she realise the whole world revolves around you?
