Just lovely. Barbara is such a great mother. Giving birth in the field unexpectedly but looking after the baby lamb as her natural instincts kicked in despite the small size of it. What a crazy start to your day but you both handled it so well! Congrats on the new edition to your crew. 😀
I’m exhausted! Watching you two work today was awesome! I remember those rocks outside you laid when it was so muddy!! My goodness! Such a day! Then you have the chickens, ducks and pewpews! (Geese) Awesome, just awesome! I want more, please! Thank you🌹
Barbara is an amazing Mommy, it’s brings such a smile to my face to see the babies..but also the care you give them great team work as always. Take care of each other xx
A pleasant surprise to see the new born baby sheep !!! But Barbara is taking good care off her young born ! Now it is really Spring time with the little goat and now the little sheep !!! So day by day more work is coming to the Farm with all the new baby,s , but the both off you will doing just fine !!!!
Barbara was like "I don't need any supervising!" nature really took it's own course, Barbara always such a good mother Seeing Nuella and her baby running was so heart warming. Baby girl was just so excited to run around, it was like a new world for her.
There's something about baby goats that touches my heart. The way they run and pounce around is so funny.😂😂😂 Congratulations on the new baby sheep! 🎉💞🎉
Im glad to see that David is taking it a bit lighter on the heavy work of cleaning out the stalls. David how is your back? I see you tagging at it. I had to learn the hard way that just bc ur young it dose not mean you can over do it on ur back. It will come back to hunt you. Dessy u have grown into a real farm girl. Coming from a total city teen to a farm woman that is very impressive.
@@DoBeDiff I have found that wearing a back brace. They are soft stretchy and u can choose if u want metal or hard plastic to keep it stiff. Sense I have been wearing mine my back is much better.
Your graceful, yet powerful movement clearing that animal shed made me so envious. I wish I could still move like that. It inspired me to try some of my exercises again. Mind you, I lack the potential to drive forward as you and David. I certainly do not have the same incentive to provide for a growing brood of healthy, strong animals that are emerging, now that spring is giving way to summer. From what I have seen, sheep often give birth in fields, mostly without needing assistance. Sadly, when it is needed it can be needed urgently, so it was good that Barbara was successful.
That straw you we’re clearing out, should have gone on your veg garden, one it would have put fibre into the soil and secondly feed it to, better veggies 😋😋.❤️🇬🇧🙏
When I was a kid I had to scoop bedding and poop twice a week. Its was mostly horses but that is not something I miss. Watching you clean that mess just brought back so many memories of being covered in yuck.😂😂
So happy to see the very little lamb, and the good work of Barbara, but it's clear you love shows more out to the goats , that's like cats and dogs, one like more a cat and another likes more dogs, in my young days whe had only cats for the mices and a dog for pets, the other animals on the farm we didn't attache on them, these where for food, like chickens also, these days animals are more seen as pets
You should really get the sheep sheared. She needs it. Also you need sheep shears not human clippers. That wool is getting matted and is very heavy for her to carry. Just trying to help.
Yeah she is getting sheered when this was filmed we still had cold nights. The stables are a lot cooler than outside but they are about to go out, the video was filmed nearly a month ago! 😁❤️
@@DoBeDiff Make sure you buy actual sheep shears. The human clippers aren't designed for wool. It will be faster and less stressful on the sheep. We watch you guys all the time. Keep up the good work!
Broke off! Most bent when using them on the hay rolls, we need to buy new ones the heavy rebar we used bends the original forks don't but they snap off if the pressure is too high. They are around 35€ a piece but will have to invest to make the tool useful again! 😊❤️
Who is the dad of Barbara’s baby? I thought meruli was Barbara’s son from 2 years ago so if his the dad are you worried about in-breeding and issues with genetics and further issues that come with that? Sorry just curious and worried about the in-breeding on your farm!
We prefer ours to have them outside as long as the weather is nice. It's cleaner than being locked in stalls unless they have lots of room and stalls are picked several times a day to remove soiled bedding. I've also never seen you guys dip navels, especially important when being birthed in dirty bedding. I admit we rarely dip if their born in the pastures but ours aren't as friendly as yours! 😂
@@kimberleyengle1432 Yeah in this case the nights had bellow freezing temps and the bedding is very clean always with fresh hay on top! But everyone does it different! We would love to have them out but we always want them to be one month old before joining the herd!
Why don't you cut down the goats'horns? It's scary when they come up behind you guys. I can't imagine them not hurting anyone accidentally, because, of how long the horns are. Just asking. From a City girl lol
Why do you need to put Barbara and her lamb in the barn. She should be fine out in the pasture Oh it would be great to shear Barbara with all the warm temps coming and would be easier for the lamb to nurse
New born lamb on pasture is the easiest snack for a fox or hawks/eagles! Why would you risk that when she can live one month inside they be back out. Anyways the grass wasn't growing yet when he was born. Seams like a pointless risk! 😊❤️
Thanks!
Thank you so much Mary! ❤️😊

Mama Barbara and her new little baby boy😍! Great video! Dessy you were mucking out that stall, like a pro and that's hard work!
I've never seen happier animals.
God bless you guys❤

What a nice surprise 🎉!!
Your farm is growing by leaps and bounds !! ❤
Oh so sweet the little lamb. A big mountain of work for you both
How sweet. Love Barb and her baby. Thank you for this lovely video.
Oh my word! I thought you only had the one. Didn’t know there were other pregnant moms! How exciting! Thank you😃🌹
Attentive Moms and babies are adorable. You both take such good care of all your animals.
Every time I see Noella and her baby as a perfect copy of her❤❤ so cute
I remember when you 1st got Barbara & her son! She’s always been one of my favourites ❤

It seems like the longer you live there the more work you have to do good luck to you

You two are such an inspiration!
Your music choices are always excellent. Nice job!
Farm life is so unpredictable day to day sometimes even hour to hour.
Beautiful baby!!!#!!
My Hats off to you 2👍
That was great 😊
Oh so beautiful
Oh I love the babies.
What a good mum she is❤
Are you going to shear your sheep?
Yeah we are sheering them now and in few days they go back out! We are a bit behind on the videos! 😊❤️
Animals dont need our intervention .they know what to do

Will you be shearing the sheep this spring? Barbras coat looks really heavy and hot.

It will be covered to speed up the composting just need some rain been very dry spring so far! 😊❤️

When are you going to get those sheep shorn for summer l have never seen the long coats get shorn since I’ve been watching you

Wow a baby 🐑👏🥰💙 how wonderful. Do you need to take Bárbara's belly to make it easier for the baby to suck??? Hugs from Brazil 🇧🇷 💙💝💚👏🥰
Why did all the goats have to be locked in? Don’t understand?
Not all the goats only the pregnant ones. That is so they don't give birth on the field.

why are the stalls so small ?
Cause it's expensive to build a large building!
The sheep need to be sheared soon. Please. You are not doing them a favour by keeping the wool on in 35°C weather.
Do you burn that mountain of poopy hay??
No we cover it and in few months it will be composted and becomes fertilizer! 😁
Why don't you cut down the goats'horns? It's scary when they come up behind you guys. I can't imagine them not hurting anyone accidentally, because, of how long the horns are. Just asking. From a City girl lol

Your sheep are way overdue to be sheared.
This was filmed in start of April and it was still cold we had nights with -6°c now they are getting sheered and going back outside! 😊❤️
