Awwwww, so very sorry for your loss of Max 😢 Farming is not for the faint of heart….. I’m thankful you have each other for strength & support when these things happen❤️ Looking forward to watching the youngsters grow & prosper 🥰
I am so sorry for your loss of Max, It broke my heart seeing the sheep looking for his friend. Seeing the new babies restored my heart. Thank you for sharing.
There's nothing wrong about you picking up the babies, you can pick them up as much as you like. It makes them friendlier towards humans, so they won't be scared. I remember when you got your first 3 goats, and they are were and still are the happiest, sweetest goats. You are a great animal caretaker. I also remember when you got Max, sorry about your loss. Hopefully your new buck will be little so you can raise him up just as friendly.
I'm so sorry about Maxie. I could see how much you loved him. The babies came at the right time to brighten your heart. ❤ I wish you hope in finding the right buck to fit in.
I am sorry to hear about Max. He was a lucky boy to have you and David. The new babies are adorable. I love the trust of the Mother goat when you hold her babies. I know how sad you feel now but you have great memories that will ease the sadness that you feel. God bless you both.
So sorry about the death of your male goat but the new babies are all adorable. A good example of the circle of life and the realities of life on a farm.
Awww! I'm so sorry for your loss, but so happy for the precious new additions! They're adorable! Goat babies have to be one of the happiest things on earth! Also, please don't worry about explaining yourself to people who are trying to make you feel inadequate or at fault in some way. They don't deserve the energy it takes to defend yourself. If the advice is helpful and kind, that's one thing, but anything that makes you feel like you're not doing the best thing for your beloved animals that you can should be absolutely ignored and deleted. Life happens, and none of it is ever perfect. We can all see how much you love and care for your animals in every single video and we love you and them all the more for it!
Losing a pet is hard. They are part of the family and you and David love all of the animals. I see how happy you both are with all of the animals. They are blessed to have you taking care of them. I love the excitement when you introduce us to the new babies. Your love shines forth. Things will get better. Take one day at a time through life's journey.
Dessy and David, so sorry to hear this news. Dessy you are right and grieving is healthy even though it hurts. Let the tears flow, in your time. The two new little ones are beautiful! But loss is sad, thank goodness your heart is tender and David's too! Remember him in all the good and fun times. So sorry for your loss.😟 You both are very caring to all your animal family, I have no doubt of that!💞
So very sad about Maxie. And with his sheep buddy looking for him, that was quite sad too. Cutie new goaties and sheep baby, lucky animals to have you taking care of them.
Sorry for the loss, there is no a lot else I should really say, I do not think you should feel you failed. Sadly, death is part of keeping animals, you handled it well, it is natural to feel upset at the passing of an animal you knew. Emotions, can become quite raw, so go ahead, mark the passing in your own way,
Max was so cute and he was lucky to be loved by you both xx. The babies omg I understand your confusion of joy and sadness ..it is the circle of life. We care for them whilst they live and take care after they have gone 🌈. Hug hugs to you both xx
Awww so sorry to hear about Max,he was a good ole boy.But he gave you some beautiful babies-the circle of life.He knew he was loved, you gave him a good life.Enjoy those babies,it will be fun watching them grow.
Our vet said that goats are an animal looking for a way to die. We raised them for many years and they are very prone to a lot of illnesses and problems. But they are still very rewarding to have. Parasites are the worst problem with them.
So sorry to hear the news about Max. He was a lovely goat. What a day of mixed emotions, Im not surprised you felt up and down with two new kids, lamb and losing Max all in the same day. I think you both are amazing in the way you are handling it all. As for negative comments etc, you know you take great care of your animals. Sometimes I wish that some people who comment negatively or criticise would remember the saying: If you dont have anything good to say then dont say anything at all. Hope you both get a good nights sleep!
What a mix of emotions. The girls gave birth to healthy babies which is what we all hope for. They’re such beauties. The beige/cream goatie girl will stand out with her beautiful colors ❤️❤️ she’s my favorite (even though I love all the girls ) But Maxie😭 I know life and death comes with having a farm but Max was your first buck to arrive. He had special place on the farm. I remember watching when he arrived. And the poor male sheep looking for his best friend 😭😭😭 I hope he recovers from this as well. So sorry for you loss, max was such a good boy. He will be missed, maybe get a picture of maxie to hang up? I know the new buck will never replace Maxie but I understand wanting to introduce a new boy to the girls. Praying for brighter days upcoming ❤️
So sorry to hear about Max but I’m sure it was something unexpected. As for people commenting about handling the babies having grown up on a farm the babies to have the handling by humans so that they are gentled as they grow up, keep doing what your doing
You are an amazing couple with a love for all your babies that’s just beautiful to see. I’m so sorry for your loss & so thankful for the birth of such precious babies. The person who made the ridiculous negative comments has obviously not seen many of your videos. If they had they would have known just how truly ridiculous their comments were. Your love & care for all your babies is one of the reasons we love your videos so much! ❤❤❤
Oo iam so sorry for Max 😢 it is always hard to louse an animal when you love them lime you do ❤ Happy for you that the newborns are ok litle max babies take Despina and Deivid
So sorry about Maxie😢Bless him! I think you little goats are so sweet. I think holding them, as long as Momma is okay with it, is great. I think they become gentler as they become adults because they know you so well! You both are good animal keepers!
So sorry for your loss of Max and I agree you should name the boy after his papa. The baby goats 🐐 and sheep 🐑 are so adorable. Also, the baby goat 🐐 color is light brown and white ❤😊
Awwwwwe, I'm so sorry for your loss but, there's new babies for you to be happy, when I die I want to come back as one of your animals, cause they are well taken care of
It is a sad thing when there is a loss, so you need to cry. It will produce a chemical to make you feel better. Sending hugs to both of you from Georgia USA. -Betty

Sorry about Max. The one that is really hurting is his friend. I hope his friend will get over it soon. About the babies, what a ridiculous thing to say, to not pick up the babies to much. That is none of any ones business. It was so cute when you Despina kissed the baby goat and it talked to you right after with a "maea a a ae" saying " I like that, thank you 2nd mama."
Usually livestock owners treat their animal's for things like diseases that can be caused during breading. You should watch Sandy Brock with her family.
Aww, I'm very sad to hear the bad news. It sounds like they should be seperated if fighting. I don't know. Autopsy is the word you were looking for. They find out the cause of death with Autopsies. [$$$$] On the other hand congratulations on another cutie pie little girl. They're both so cute! 😘🐐😘🐐💞 I hope you can find a buck soon. By the way you don't have be tough. Cry if it starts to come. We understand. It's only human. Take care. Hugs to you both.🤗🤗
The people that said that They might have meant the mommy goat might have stepped on it not you guys i know you guys are sweet with your animals love you all
SAD you lost your buck. This however allows you to get new genetics into your herd. This new buck will also be able to breed any & all of your female goats.
The young buck with the horns slowly broke it more and more by trying to scratch his horns. Also he was looking out the window once it was a hole and he slowly broke it every time he was going back in! 😁
So sad for you and Max, I instantly thought of the ram losing his mate cause they seemed so bonded. Just wondering, why do you need another buck, you don’t want to use Max’s son (the boy with the crooked horn that looks like Max) cause of inbreeding?
Yes the other buck is too close the family and he has huge horns which will make mostly babies with horns we like the ones without horns as they are just safer and less aggressive since their head isn't as strong for fighting. We have to get a goat buck from somewhere far away!
@@DoBeDiff where I live people give the female goats to a shepherd when they’re ready for mating, they usually have a couple of bucks and the girls get back home pregnant after a couple of weeks. I thought all the boys had horns, now that I think of it I can’t picture if Hoppity does😁 My aunt kept girl goats and they all came from the same mom goat and they all looked like Maxiboy, the same colors and horns but I’ve never noticed any dominant behaviour in them like your horned girlies do when they bully the others. They were sometimes headbutting gates or posts but not each other. edit-I might’ve mentioned it before but something aunty used to do especially with her young horned goats was to cut some ribbons of fabric (old clothes) and wrap them around the horns at the base, it keeps the horns together so to speak, it helps them grow straight and provides padding so they don’t hurt themselves headbutting.

I'm sorry you guys have been touch by a tradegy. Did you check out Max's body after to see if there were injuries? However you did get two Mothers Day surprises! They are adorable. All's well.
There was signs on his face that indicate internal bleeding in the head we talked to an expert about how he looked. So it's kinda determined that the death was caused by a head injury!

Sorry for your loss. And also congrats on the new babies. Keep at it!
Thank you! ❤️😊
Although the cycle of life is part of farming it is still okay to grieve. This was your first Billy goat and he was special. Be comforted.
Sorry for your loss of your Buck. All losses are painful. The new babies are great! Max knew you gave him a great life!
So sad about Max, but he left beautiful babies. Sending you hugs.

So sorry for your loss! I would suspect the male sheep too. They can kill goats easily with a head to head impact.
Always when you have animals there will be some sickness and death. Glad to see your happy new babies though.
Sorry about Max. Have yourself a good cry.
