- A look into the case of a wanna-be heavy metal from the mid-90s who attempted to sacrifice a girl to Satan in exchange for talent, fame and fortune. Spoiler alert: it didn't end well.
This case also includes a cameo from the legendary Slayer.
This video is so well put together. Just subscribed.
Thank you for watching and subscribing!
Great cover story.
Sad stuff.
But the Edits are Hella lol and brilliant ❤
Thank you!
They should never get out of prison!
This was really interesting, hadn't heard about this case before. And I agree, the parole shouldn't have been reversed.
Thank you for watching!
This happened in my home town. My only question is this........ what ever happened to the 4th member involved!!!!????? Scary shit.
Seems like he was smart enough to get out while the getting was good.
@@EveryFairyDies or worse....that is the scary thing. Sometimes the law will give false information to the public, so the investigation will not be tarnished. I remember watching the news, and saying to myself, " that's not what happened. Or this happened here or there or, a different part of San Luis Obispo county. I've never trusted the news. "
Sound Levels!!!
interesting and intelligent... and a greatly done vid
Thank you!
It's ironic that a small Cult band like Mayhem attracted more comments than a member of the Big 4 Thrash Metal bands
Mayhem is like a cult movie, it may not have the massive following that blockbusters have, but the fans it does have are incredibly dedicated.
@@EveryFairyDies I totally agree with you about that. I am not a Patreon member, but I have a suggestion for a Video. To not give too much away I'll just touch on the subject with some facts about the incident. 1994 Eugene Oregon, Royal Avenue Dari Mart , Death Metal ( amateur ) band, Deicide and Cannibal Corpse fanatics, Homicide, Robbery ( severe beating) , horrific death, Lawsuit against Metal Blade Records, and Roadracer ( Roadrunner label) , Jason Bramwell ( main culprit) , Donna Ream ( victim ). Very much a Metal inspired crime. I am surprised that as of yet no one has ever covered the incident, but I think that you could make a pretty compelling video about the incident. Thanks

@@godetonter4764 Thank you, I'll check into it! I don't have a Patreon yet, but it's definitely something I'm going to set up soon.
Fear Factory 😊
As soon as you mentioned gavin i knew exactly where this was going another reason not to like him and vote against him.
Every time I see his name pop up, I'm immediately like, "oh, that guy." 😆
You put a photo of Vinnie Appice when referring to Bill Ward but that doesn't ruin this awesome work of yours by making this video.
There's always something, isn't there?! 😂 But hey, means you paid attention, which is the best part!
Intro song?
It's a licence-free song from Pixabay pixabay.com/music/metal-orchestral-metal-8736/
That was the exact same song that popped into my head when you said "something to relax to", Angel of Death is always my go to, cathartic...like a Shiatsu massage of my brain. 💆♀
You described it perfectly!
Do a video on Sammytown.
He's on the list!
NoseyBonk....it's been a long time.
how u doing buddy ? 😊
Pretty good! Eating children, staring at random strangers in an off-putting way, oh, and I was on The Great British Bake Off: Nightmare Fuel edition! How's things with you?
I’m thinking of converting to metal, any good bands you recommend?
Depends on what kind of music you already like. Trust me, whatever you like, there is a metal version of it out there.
@@EveryFairyDies I think I’ll start by listening to Brujería and Cradle Of Filth.
@@gordenstokes5044 Nice! Both great choices, and both good examples of how metal can take different styles and meld them together into a whole new form. There's plenty of metal forums on Reddit where you can ask for suggestions and other bands based on your current musical preferences. Explore, go nuts! Some you'll like, some you won't, but never stop exploring the genre.
Try Watain
Thrash metal: Dark Angel, Demolition Hammer, Devastation, Heathen, Kreator, Sacrifice, Vio-lence.
Death metal: Death, Disciples of Power, Gorguts, Gruesome, Mass Infection, Monstrosity, Suffocation.
Traditional metal: Chastain, Helstar, Manilla Road, Metal Church, Obsession, Riot, Sortilège.
You may know some of these bands already, though.
If the young lady that is no longer with us was your sister, your cousin, your friend would you enjoy all the jokes, humor and sarcasm? If her mother or father or sibling or such happen across this do you think they will thank you for all your hard work and income from what you created? Just asking, sincerely no judgment.
Yep! I have always taken refuge in dark gallows humour, as do the rest of my family. I've always believed if I can make a joke out a situation, no matter how inappropriate that joke may seem, then it means that situation can't be all bad, and I'll find a way out of it. It helps me put on a brave face and show myself and/or others that I'm not beaten.
I get it's not to everyone's taste, and that's ok, people deal with things in their own way. I would hope that if Elyse's family saw this video they'd appreciate someone talking about their daughter and her life, rather than focusing on her murderers, or sensationalising the story by lying and shouting out "did you know this inspired a Megan Fox movie?!" I would hope they family would appreciate the research I did, rather than simply regurgitating the same BS all the other videos I watched on the subject did.
And hey, at least I wasn't doing my makeup and/or hair while making the video. Personally, I think those kind of videos are far more disrespectful than anything I've created.
Oh, and I've not made any income from this or any of my other videos; I'm not popular enough for that. I hope my reply has helped!
@@EveryFairyDies please keep it up your amazing humor is what makes this series special.
@@godloveszaza Thanks, I intend to! I can't help it, actually, I'm about 80% pure sarcasm and cynicism.
I don't think his parole should have been reversed, but I disagree with your take on it. Prison is not primarily for reform - it is primarily for punishment. If someone gets a life sentence, the jury is clearly not interested in reforming them. The American prison system is certainly a disaster and needs to be reformed (e.g., no private interests should be allowed, solitary should be abolished, etc., all IMO of course), but it serves as punishment first and foremost and always has. I personally don't see a problem with that. Good video, I just disagree on that point. \m/ Subscribed!
Thanks for watching, and for subscribing! I agree that all prisons, not just USA ones, need to get rid of solitary confinement and private prisons are a blight to all societies. The purpose of prisons is a nuanced topic, and I really appreciate you politely expressing your disagreement instead of blasting me, so thank you!
I think punishment for punishment's sake isn't really helpful towards changing a person's actions, and I do believe there are some people who need to be locked up to keep society safe (serial killers, serial rapists, etc), but I don't think straight up punishment should be the end goal, if you get what I mean. Like, it should be used in conjunction with therapy, education, etc, to work towards helping the person not commit the same/another crime again, at least in 'mega-crime' cases like murder and such. Repeated shoplifting, repeated speeding, etc, yeah, do your 30 days and hopefully learn your damn lesson.
@@EveryFairyDies Yes it is nuanced! I agree in this respect: if we can rehabilitate people, that is better than just punishing them. But we can't (tbh, we haven't really tried that hard as a society which is a shame). Psychology as a science is only like 100 years old, and isn't even to the point where we understand behavior completely let alone being able to fix it. Hopefully someday. In the meantime, all we have is "Do crime A, get sentence B". That does keep some people behaving, but obviously not all. Thank you for your reply! I look forward to more content! Stay metal! \m/
Metal murdered nobody
No shit.
Well pineapple on pizza should be a crime :)
Oh, I agree 100%!
Forgive me if I'm wrong (being sarcastic) but isn't "being evil" the whole dark, scary & horrible astetik what attacks people to metal in the first place? Did me! I mean come on i don't want pansie arss foofy music still & I'm old now. The trick is to appeal to a specific crowd of people to gain fame or acknowledgement & they obviously did just that because your/others still talking about it years later. Just saying also makes you wonder did the deal actually work!?!?
As fun as it is to buck society's expectations and be 'evil', there's a limit. And since they asked to be famous and successful musicians, I'd say the deal failed. That, or they need to learn to be more specific in their wording.
They would of had to mummified the body if they wanted to keep having fun 🤦♂️Yes I just said that 😁🩸🦇🩸
Your disgusting.
